Abhimanyu's POV:
Wedding day (afternoon)

"Moon, where is my white shirt?" I asked my wife, who was staring at me like she was about to eat me alive. But why?

My eyes followed her as she got up silently and marched to the cupboard. Her lips said nothing, but her actions screamed anger. She yanked the cupboard open with such force that both I and Ritika - who was still sitting on the chair ever since I had barged in and interrupted their conversation - flinched in fear.

Was she having mood swings? On her periods?
Nope - that was already over.
Had I done something?
Absolutely not.

I turned to Ritika and tried asking her with my eyes, "What's wrong?"
But the devil just smirked.

Before I could say a word, she stood up and announced,
"Di, I am leaving."

While walking past me, she slowed down and whispered,
"Yaad h aap ne mujhe dance nahi karne diya tha mehandi main, uska badla. You are so dead, jiju."
("Remember how you didn't let me dance at the mehendi? This is revenge. You're so dead, jiju.")

She's definitely done something.

"Here."
I hadn't even fully turned to her voice when the shirt was shoved into my hands.

Shivani walked back to the chair where she and Ritika were sitting earlier, without saying a word.

This situation felt... dangerous.

"What's wrong? Who made my wife angr-?"
I couldn't even finish my sentence before she pointed a blaming finger straight at me.

"Aap," she said.
("You.")

She said it so cutely, I had to control myself from pinching her cheeks. But I knew if I did, I'd be sent straight to heaven - courtesy of her flying sandal.

"Main?" I asked, trying not to smile.
("Me?")

"Yes," she replied, sitting down again.

"Okayyyyy let's solve it. Maine kya kar diya ab?"
("Okay, let's solve this. What have I done now?")
I said, sitting on the chair opposite hers.

"Mujhe nahi pta."
("I don't know.")
She said while looking away.

"Huh? How can that be possible, Moon? Aren't you upset?"
I asked, still trying to understand her.

"Aap khud samjho."
("You figure it out yourself.")
She replied irritably and almost stood up.

"Moon..." I said softly, pulling her gently to make her sit on my lap.

"Koi moon-voon nahi."
("No more 'Moon' and all that.")
She said while wriggling, trying to escape.

"Bolo toh kya hua h, how will I solve it? See how deeply I love you - the color of your henna is the proof."
I tried to lighten the mood.
