Shivani's pov:

Staring at the illuminated full moon in the sky, I hugged myself closer as the cool breeze touched my skin, making me shiver a little. I was sitting on the terrace, enjoying the view after a hectic day at the hospital and a relaxing bath.

A smile formed on my lips as I recalled our confession again. It had been a week since we confessed our feelings, but I still couldn't get over it.
.
.
"I love you... I love you, moon."
.
"To love you, I don't need permission; it's my fate to burn for you until I can burn no more."
.
My smile widened, and I shook my head to stop thinking about it.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice someone sitting down on the floor beside me.

"Apki muskurahat ki wajah jaan sakta hoon?"
("Can I know the reason behind your smile?")
I gasped when I heard Abhi, and that's when I notice him beside me.

His hand was in front of my mouth like a microphone, and a soft smile played on his lips. I blushed and looked down, shaking my head no.

"Oh, no problem," he said, removing his hand. "And those blushing cheeks of your didn't told me that it's me you were thinking about. " He added with a chuckle making me blush even harder.

Even though we were on the terrace, the area was still illuminated with yellow lights and the moon, allowing Abhi to see my blushing cheeks.

"I didn't know my Shivi could blush and that my words could turn my moon pink," he said, shifting closer to me.

I looked away, trying to hide my smile, then looked back at him with a neutral face. "Well... because I don't blush easily," I said, trying to show a fake attitude.

"Oh, is that so? You're challenging me, moon. Now I will make sure you blush every day," He said, raising an eyebrow." We'll see," I said, meeting his eyes for the first time since he sat beside me.

"Sure, but for now..." he turned away from me, a playful glint in his eyes. "Let's have our dinner," he said, offering the plate he had kept beside him.

I nodded, smiling at him warmly, and he placed the plate between us. Just as I was about to start eating, he mischievously pulled the plate away, making me frown at him in mock annoyance.

"Ahh ahh... I will feed you," he said, his eyes twinkling with affection. I couldn't help but smile. Mixing dal with the rice, he made a bite and gently fed me before taking a bite himself.

As he fed me, I looked at him with admiration, feeling my heart swell with love. His tenderness and care were evident in every gesture. After we finished everything on the plate, he handed me a glass of water, which I drank quietly, savoring the moment.

Taking the glass back, he stood up and said, "I'll be right back," before rushing down the stairs without even waiting for my reply. I chuckled at his eagerness, feeling a warmth spread through me as I watched him go.
