Abhimanyu's POV:

"So, what are we going to do next?" my dad asked, sitting next to my sofa.

"Yeah, Abhimanyu, what's the plan? There's no way we're letting that bastard go," Rakshit chimed in, leaning forward. Everyone in the room looked at me, their expressions serious.

"Let's file a case," my mom suggested from across the room. Everyone nodded in agreement, and Shivani and I exchanged a quick glance. "We already did that," we replied in unison.

"You did?" everyone asked. We nodded again. "We have someone helping us with this. We've filed a case, but the problem is, it happened four years ago, and we have no solid evidence."

"So, what do we do now?" my mother-in-law asked, her voice tense. "Shivani, do you know who did this?" my father-in-law pressed.

Shivani looked at me, hesitating before shaking her head. "No, she don't know who it was. She was drugged, and the person was well disguised," I said, trying to sound convincing.

I knew I was lying, but I felt it was necessary. The fewer people who knew about Rudra, the better. It reduced the chances of him finding out that we were aware of Shivani's past.

Rudra believed deeply that Shivani wouldn't speak out because he thought we would abandon her or find her disgusting if we learned what had happened. I wanted him to keep believing that until he gets what he deserve.

This will reduce the chances of him running off. Ritika frowned at us, but I gestured her to stay quiet, promising I and will explain to her later to which she nodded understanding.

"But we need to do something Abhimanyu, why are you so calm about this? I just want to find that bastard and kill him." Rakshit said frustration evidence as he turned towards me.

see, this is why I can't reveal his name. If I do, they might kill him, but that would be too easy. I want him to suffer slowly, to regret every moment of what he did.

"Calm down, Rakshit. We need to be careful and not act impulsively," I said coldly, my eyes fixed on the distance. "About how we will find the evidence or him." I turned to look at Rakshit "he will help us himself" I said with a smrik.

"What do you mean?" my dad asked, sensing the tension in the room.

I glanced at Shivani, who was biting her lip, her hands clenched into fists. It was clear that this conversation was weighing heavily on her.

"Don't worry, Dad. I'm handling things," I reassured him. "I'll let you know when I need help. For now, let's focus on Anvi's wedding and Rishikesh." I said this cheerfully, motioning toward Shivani, signaling everyone that we needed to change the subject.
