"Jace? Are you okay?" Leya asks him as she walks down the steps and heads over to him by the monitors.
"Yeah. I'm...I'm good." Jace tells her as he sits back down in the chair.
"It's four in the morning. I just woke up and went to your room, but you weren't there, but what are you still doing up?" Leya asks him as she stands next to him.
"I have to go through the rest of this surveillance footage." Jace tells her and then rolls his sleeve up and then runs his stele over his Stamina rune on his left shoulder.
"By using your Stamina rune? Jace, at some point you're going to need some..." Leya tells him but then Jace interjects.
"I can sleep when I find him." Jace tells her.
"But you also have to take care of yourself." Leya tells him as she grabs ahold of his hand.
"Seven mundanes have been murdered in the last 48 hours. I think I know who's responsible." Jace tells her.
"You'd ID'd the Owl?" Leya asks.
"The clave has no record of an owl-faced demon. Or a demon that possess people that way. That face has to be a glamour." Jace tells her as he leans forward.
"For whom? Who would want to hide themselves?" Leya asks.
"I think the owl...is Jonathan." Jace tells her. ••• (Leya's outfit)

"You sure this is what it looks like?" Clary asks as she and Leya looks through the book with Simon and Maia standing behind them.
"I mean, I know I'm no Picasso, but..." Maia tells her and Simon jumps in.
"Actually, Picasso was an abstract...never mind." Simon starts before he looks at Maia.
"This is what I saw on his forehead." Maia tells Leya and Clary as she taps the napkin with the drawing on it.
"Well, it's not in the Gray Book, which means it's not a Shadowhunter rune." Clary tells them as she closes the Gray Book.
"And Magnus has never seen anything like it before." Leya tells them as Simon sits down in a chair.
