"Leya...what happened with Jonathan wasn't your fault." Jace tells her as she picks at her food with a fork as they sit at the breakfast table across from each other.
"But he's still in New York, I can feel it, Jacey." Leya tells him.
"We have patrols canvassing the entire city. If he's still here, we'll find him. I promise." Jace tells her as Izzy and Clary join them.
"Izzy, Clary, hey." Leya says to them.
"Hey." Clary tells her.
"Oh, so hungry." Izzy tells her as she sits down in the chair.
"Where have you been all morning?" Clary asks her.
"So, I found a data chip inside Greenlaw's stomach...it's highly encrypted. It's going to take some time to crack." Izzy tells her as she takes some bacon off of Jace's plate as Leya does the same and bites into one.
"Let us know." Clary tells her.
"Hands off my bacon! I'm used to Leya doing it." Jace tells Izzy.
"I guess you need to guard your food better." Izzy tells him.
"Just take mine we both know I'll be taking some if I want it anyways." Leya tells Jace as she puts her bacon on his plate and then Alec and Magnus come over and joins their table.
"Hey." Jace says to Alec.
"Hey." Alec tells him.
"Magnus, what are you doing here?" Jace asks as Magnus sits down.
"Oh, where do I start? I just moved out of my apartment but unfortunately my real estate agent died a few hundred years ago, so...finding a new place has been a bit of a struggle." Magnus tells him.
"In the meantime, he's going to be living with us for a little while." Alec tells them.
"That's great." Clary tells him.
"It's amazing." Leya tells Alec.
"Yeah, absolutely." Jace tells Alec.
"Welcome to the Institute, Magnus." Izzy tells him as she raises her cup of orange juice.
"I'm glad to be here." Magnus tells her as he raises his glass of orange juice.
"Hello?" Leya asks into her phone as she answers it.
"Leya." Luke says.
"Luke? Whose number is this?" Leya asks.
"It's the precincts." Luke tells her.
"They gave you your badge back?" Leya asks.
"Not exactly. The vampires attacked the Jade Wolf...and they killed most of the pack." Luke tells her.
