"Three second head start and you didn't try to run? I'm disappointed." Jace tells her as he exits the Portal after her.
"What's the point? You're just going to catch me again anyways." Leya tells him.
"Let's go." Jace tells her and then grabs her arm as they start walking down the sidewalk.
"Did you kill Alec, Izzy and Clary? Did you?! Answer me!" Leya tells him as she turns to face him.
"I don't take orders from you." Jace tells her.
"But you do from Lilith?" Leya asks.
"She is my Queen. Keep moving." Jace tells her and then grabs her arm and they start walking down the sidewalk again.
"We can run all you want. It's only a matter of time before guards and the clave get to us." Leya tells him.
"That's why I activated your anti-tracking rune." Jace tells her.
"Let me talk to him. Give him back to me. I can't lose him again." Leya tells him as she turns to face him again.
"There is no version of this where your Jace wakes up and comes home." Jace tells her.
"Jace, if you can hear me in there, I will never give up on you. Never." Leya tells him and then headbutts Jace and then takes off running and he speeds in front of her holding a blade to her throat and she stops running.
"The life you knew is gone. You belong to Lilith now." Jace tells her. ••• "Come on. It's not much father now." Jace tells Leya as they walk through an alley.
"That's what you said 10 blocks ago." Leya tells him then looks down at the broken bottle and trips knocking down some boxes in the process and grabs a piece of the bottle.
"Get up." Jace tells her and she stays down.
"Give me a minute. I haven't stopped moving since Valentine's interrogation." Leya tells him and Jace pulls out his stele and grabs onto her arm and pulls her up.
"Stop moving. You're going to need your stamina. Let's go." Jace tells her and then runs his stele over her stamina rune on her left bicep and then grabs her arm and pulls her with him as she squeezes the glass in her hand leaving drops of blood in their path. ••• "The prodigal sister has arrived. The family resemblance is striking." Lilith tells her as she turns to face Jace and Leya as they walk over to her inside her apartment.
"To be honest, I just don't see it." Leya tells her.
"You're a sassy one, aren't you?" Lilith asks.
"Sorry for the delay, my Queen. Valentine's rib." Jace tells her and then holds out the rib to Lilith.
"All that matters is we have everything necessary to begin." Lilith tells him as she takes the rib and places it on top of Jonathan's coffin and the rib goes inside as it glows red.
