The two broke the kiss.
"Wow, never ever did I think this would happen" Mackenzie chuckled and blushed.
"Yeah me neither" Bluey did the same. These dogs can't stop blushing, they should go get that checked.
Mackenzie then got up and went to the back of the boat, and sat down next to his newfound soulmate, hugging her in the process.
"Wow, aren't you soft!" Mackenzie smiled.
"Th-thanks, you're quite soft too" Both could tell this was quite the awkward moment. "I think we should get this sorted out"
"What?"
"How we're going to hide it from everyone"
"Oh, yeah t-that makes sense"
"I think we should keep it a secret from everyone. We can't risk it leaking"
"Uh-huh..." Mackenzie was following.
"That means not telling anyone, even Rusty and Jack"
"Well commissar, that also means not even Chloe and Judo"
"Deal."
"Deal."

The school day was about to end, it had already been an hour since the buddies left and parents were already coming to pick up their pups. Except not all kids were there.
"Hey, Rusty! Jack!"
"Yes, Calypso?" The red kelpie answered with his thick Aussie accent.
"Do you know where Bluey and Mackenzie are?"
"No?"
"Can you go find them, please?"
"Sure!" Rusty said as he rose two thumbs up. "Let's go, Soldier Russell. We have a mission."
"Yes Sarge!"

Bluey and Mackenzie were sitting on the back of the boat.
"So, how did you figure you liked-liked me?"
"Huh. I'm not sure, actually. I've felt like this for quite some time but I don't think I liked-liked you until a few months ago, and I hadn't realised I had a crush on you until Mia told me what that was like an hour ago" Bluey chuckled. "What about you?"
"Uhm, since I met you I think..."
"Well that's quite the statement" Bluey was polite albeit shocked. "But it's okay, doesn't weird me out."
"Uh, thanks?"
"Wellwellwell, what'da we have here?" A third voice joined.

Author's Notes: I had originally planned to make a three-parter where Mia and Captain babysit Bluey and Mackenzie ft. Lucky's Dad but i scrapped it because it felt rigid and unnatural. Might come back to the idea later.
