"Okay, order! Ordeeer!" Was heard in the surroundings of the meeting tree. It was Chloe who wanted to get everyone to listen.
"As all of you know, Mackenzie -our dear friend- is back, and, as our noses have unfortunately confirmed, he and Bluey have... eh... engaged in certain activities. As such, I can proudly inform you they are dating once again!"
Everyone cheered.
"Now, I got the details about last night... but I'll have to discuss them with you later. For now we have to talk about what we'll do from here."
Everyone listened.
"All of us are aware that ever since The Sleepover Bluey's parents -Bandit in particular- have done a 180 on their parenting style. Mackenzie's are even worse. As such, I propose we do everything in our power to get them to not know they're dating and... well... because if we didn't Mackenzie would probably wake up in an AusPost box in Wellington. Got it?"
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Well, Congress will reconvene at a virtual sitting tonight to discuss the newest intel, now let's go back in."
Everyone dispersed.

Mackenzie's first day back at Glasshouse was relatively boring. Sure, it was nice to be back, but there really wasn't anything spectacular to pay attention to.
Or well, there wasn't.

"Okay, Kids. Lunchbreak!"
Everyone got up from their seats and went outside. Except Mackenzie. Bluey would go towards him.
"Hey, uhm, do you want a granola bar? These used to be your favourites..."
"Uh, sure, I haven't eaten anything for days now."
"Yeah neither have I..."
"Oh yes, you have!"
"No I-..." Bluey stopped mid-sentence. "...Oh don't be silly. That's barely an appetiser."
Mackenzie burst out laughing. "I wouldn't call it that."
"So, what I was saying, I also wanted to show you something, c'mon!" She said as she took his wrist and pulled to indicate to him to follow.
What they didn't know was that Chloe, Rusty and Jack were watching the scene. They were making a genuine expression I've only ever heard Dusty describe as a -quote- 'Bitch what the actual fuck face'
"..." Jack opened his mouth, but didn't speak. "I- don't know what to do with that information..."
Rusty said silently to Chloe:
"This whole secret relationship thing is going to be harder than I thought, no pun intended."

"Bluey, where are you taking me?" Asked the border collie as he kept his eyes closed.
"It's a surprise. Don't worry, we're almost there." Answered Bluey.
They kept walking for a bit, until they stopped at the top of a small hill.
"Open your eyes!"
He took his hand off his face and opened up his eyes.
"No way!"
He stood in front of a small treehouse. The same treehouse he and Bluey spent their days playing, studying and just relaxing together when they were younger. Oddly enough, it looked even better than it did then.
