"Yes Bluey?"
"I think Mackenzie is pretty cute"
"Well, yeah, but so are you!"
"No, i mean he's cute"
"Oh!" Mia exclaimed in surprise. "Well, do you know what a 'crush' is?"
"Nope." Bluey said with a deadpan expression.
"A crush is when you like someone so much you want to be always be with them"
"always?"
"It's just an expression, not always always"
"Oh, okay" Bluey sighed in relief "Well, i do feel very happy when Mackenzie is with me"
"Would you consider marrying him?"
"Oh!- well- it sounds nice..." Bluey started to blush so hard she might as well have become Rusty. "Why do people get married anyway?"
"There's plenty of reasons to get married, like having a big party called a 'wedding' or living together, or having kids! talking about kids, would you want to have kids with Mackenzie?"
"I don't know, i don't even know why people have kids, i don't even know how people have kids" Bluey said. "Do you know how people have kids?"
Mia was taken aback. "Erm, explaining that is your parents' job"
"Bingo asked my dad once, but he made her spin very fast" Bluey confessed. "Okay, that's enough about me. Do you have a crush?"
"Well, i used to have a crush on Captain"
"Why don't you anymore?"
"Because i told him how i felt, and he felt the same way, so now we're dating"
"Should I tell Mackenzie how i feel?"
"Well, do you feel like you have a crush?"
"I think so."
"You could, but i think you're too young to be thinking about this stuff"
"Then what do i do?! Every time i see him i feel super weird, and every time he's not playing with me i feel jealous! I can't with this anymore!" Bluey began to melt down.
"Wow, that's one duck cake of a crush" Mia censored herself. "Do you want to know a secret?"
"Sure."
"I think Mackenzie also has a crush on you."
