Of course, Jake's garage probably was most of his house. He parked up his motorcycle in his garage, he had two cars, and three motorcycles.

For what? What was the genuine need for this?

Regardless, I stepped out, looking around as if I was some sort of tourist.

I heard Jake chuckle, looking back at me as I walked in behind him. His place was epitome of luxury, I found that all of Heeseung's friends had this kind of money - from where? I have not a clue.

"Alright, you're making me feel like a hotel attendant, stop looking around like that." Jake chuckled, throwing himself on the sofa as I continued looking around.

"I can't admire houses no more? I'm sure it's the least I can do after this eventful night." I gave a small sigh, turning back to sit on the armchair near the sofa.

"Did you even sleep?" Jake inquired, glancing over at me from time to time from his phone.

"No, busy working on something." I told him, and someone suddenly rang his phone, but as I spoke, he just studied my face intently, up until he answered his phone.

I hoped it was the hospital, informing us of the news that Heeseung was awake. Sure, it'd kinda suck, since I was here with Jake, in his cool-ass house, but still, Heeseung was more important to me than anything.

I'd rather be the one in his place in the hospital right now.

I scrolled on my phone, looking at the positive feedback on the new songs I had dropped. At least I had a few things to smile about in this moment.

At the same time as I scrolled on my phone, I overheard what Jake was saying to whoever was on the phone. To be fair, it did not sound like it was to any member of staff at a hospital.

"Yeah, he's in some ward, I don't know." Jake leant his head back, staring at the ceiling of his place.

"I mean, sure, I guess." He followed with that, and eventually, ended the call, looking over at me.

".. What.." I looked at him, a little suspicious as to why he was staring at me like that.

"Got a guest coming over. One of your brother's friends." He chuckled, taking no shame in staring at my face.

".. Uh, okay?" I had no idea what this had to do with me, but alright, "Is she not your friend too?"

Jake finally looked away from me, putting his hands behind his head and giving an exhausted exhale.

"Well, yeah, but I thought it'd make more sense for me to say she's your brother's friend." Jake reiterated, and I'm pretty sure subconsciously, at the word 'she', my eyebrow slightly raised.

"Not really, but let's just go with it for the sake of it." I looked back at my phone, reading a few comments and whatnot.

He didn't even let me enjoy the comments in peace without saying something.

"Who's got you smiling like that?" Jake's voice broke my moment of joy, and I looked over at him, throwing a glare.

"It's not who, it's more of what." I rolled my eyes, turning my phone off, "Besides, none of your business."

"Damn, just like your brother." Jake had a smile on his face, talking under his breath.

The doorbell rang, and Jake stood up, heading to go and get whoever is coming over.

"Jaaake! What's up!" A familiar voice perked from the entrance of the house. I turned around, looking from my armchair at the woman walking in.

And as she saw me, and I saw her, we both had two different - yet similar - reactions to seeing one another.

I had my eyebrows both raised, lips parted slightly, and staring at her rather smug.

She, on the other hand, clearly did not like the fact I was here.

"Uh, Jake.. who.." She made her way to the sofa, sitting beside Jake and throwing me a glare.

She was the woman who tried to steal the macarons from the bakery. I knew she was close with my brother's friends and whatnot, since she was at the party too, but come on, why was she here now?

"Lee Ji-eun, Heeseung's younger sister, by a year." Jake explained, he glanced over to me with a meek smile, "Yoo Yeju."

I nodded my head slowly, a cunning yet small smile reaching my face. She had a distasteful look on her face, throwing cold glares every five seconds, though, she didn't say anything.

Instead, she showed Jake something on her phone, a wide smile on her face.

"One of my favourite artists posted a few new songs, wanna listen?" She coincidentally said, and I stopped what I was doing, subtly focusing my attention to them.

She clicked something onto her phone, and a familiar tune began playing, followed by familiar vocals, of none other, than mine.

I looked to the side, pretending to yawn to conceal my laugh, well, wasn't this a coincidence?

"She has a nice voice, what's her name?" Jake nodded his head in approval as Yeju giggled over this.

The world works wonders, I suppose.
