"Really? So you wouldn't like what life I live too, then?" Jake observed my face intently, his eyes not sparing a single second away from me.

"Probably not." I gazed back at him, and amid the moment of eye contact we shared, there seemed to be a little rise of tension in the room.

He looked down, a smirk forming on his face. But a second after, he looked back up at me, the smirk disappearing.

"What makes you hate it?" Jake kept the conversation moving, as if he didn't really want to leave.

"Just the fact that it's dangerous, you never know when a car can pull out when you're on your motorcycle, next thing you know, you're dead." I gave a sigh, leaning back slightly and staring around my room.

I know fine well Heeseung would be so mad if he found out Jake was here.

He looked at me as I spoke, intrigued.

"So, you wouldn't ever get with someone who lives like that?" Jake asked, and I just looked at him, a smile creeping up onto my face.

"Are you hitting on me right now?" I let out a small laugh as he gave a wide smile.

"What? I was only asking." He gave a sweet laugh, but separating us from our lighthearted conversation, my phone rang.

I looked at who it was, and my face dropped slightly, seeing that Heeseung was calling me.

"Bet it's Heeseung." Jake crossed his arms, staring at me with utter interest all through his face. He leant back on my chair slightly, watching as I picked up the call.

I was going to put the phone to my ear, but I don't even think I needed to, considering the second I answered, it was Heeseung yelling through the phone.

"WHY THE HELL IS JAKE'S MOTORCYCLE PARKED IN YOUR DRIVEWAY?" His voice partially cut off through the phone, that's just how he was yelling.

Jake raised his brows lightly, deeply fascinated in this now.

"Uh.. what.." I pressed my lips together, looking over at Jake, who simply carried a smile on his face.

"Ji-eun. It may be raining, and it may be dark outside. But I can clearly tell who's motorcycle that is outside your place." He stopped yelling, and had a more calm, serious voice.

I grimaced, standing up and looking out of the balcony window, Heeseung was stood on his balcony, leaning on it as the rain fell onto him. He was a little far from me, but I could tell he was boring his eyes into my balcony windows right now.

"Alright hold on hold on, you honestly don't understand." I gave a nervous chuckle, drawing the curtains to cover the balcony patio. Even though I couldn't see Heeseung anymore, I just know he was still out there, glaring through the curtains.

"Put Jake on the phone." Heeseung was deadly serious now, I looked over at Jake, who was silently laughing over this.

He beckoned his hand, signalling for me to pass him the phone. I did so, without even questioning or anything. He put it on speaker so I could hear.

"Hey, what's up." Jake calmly said, the brightest smile on his face over this. I know he was feeling so devious over this.

"Jake I'm about to dismantle your motorcycle, what the hell are you doing in my sister's house." Heeseung sprang at Jake, sparing no time to question him.

"Relax, I left my phone here, so came to pick it up, I'm going soon, so don't piss yourself." Jake spun around my chair slowly, messing with his hair.

"You are so dead, so dead, I'll tell you that now." Heeseung responded with, and after that, he hung up immediately.

I pressed my lips together as Jake just gave a chuckle.

"Ah, he'll get over it." He passed me my phone back, and I moved the curtain out of the way, checking if Heeseung was still on the balcony.

But no, just like a horror film, he was gone.

"You should probably get going before he actually takes the tires off your motorcycle." I chuckled, though his company was comforting, I knew it wasn't right.

"That'd be a bad idea, It'd only make me stay here longer." Jake placed his arms around the top of my chair, staring around my room.

"Hey, but how did you know I worked at the bakery?" I suddenly inquired, wondering how he even managed to find me in the first place.

"Heeseung mentioned it some time ago, just seemed to remember." Jake shrugged, calmly. I nodded my head, it made sense.

Before we could even continue talking, a solid combo of knocks appeared at my door. They were rigid, and clearly meant business.

"Ah, here he comes." Jake stood up chuckling, throwing the towel over his shoulder and heading downstairs as I followed him.

I opened the door and Heeseung glared at Jake, absolutely not happy with what was happening over here.

"Alright, enough of this, I don't care if it's raining, let's go." Heeseung immediately said, and Jake just gave a chuckle, taking the towel off his shoulder and handing it to me.

Heeseung walked off, towards his garage to pull his motorcycle out. Before Jake left, he looked over at me, a hot ass smirk on his face.

"See you around, Ji-eun." And with that, he turned his head back, heading to his motorcycle and starting it.
