The sky dimmed into night rather quickly, and even half an hour later, Heeseung still wasn't back.

I had enough sitting outside and doing absolutely nothing, and after a good few drinks, I came quick to conclude that I'll probably never see these people in my life again - why the hell am I sat here like an idiot?

I passed by the pool, and some guys hollered at me from the pool, yelling for me to jump in.

"COME ON! YOU WON'T!" One of them laughed, at first, I didn't consider it, but after a quick consultation in my head, I told myself that it wouldn't hurt.

I wasn't about to jump in my clothes, that'd be a little uncomfortable, so, with absolutely no shame, I threw my clothes off, leaving me in my bra and underwear, and jumped into the pool.

The people in there cheered, clapping and looking at me as I raised to the top. It was cold initially, but very quickly, I warmed up to the coldness.

I don't even remember the last time I was in a pool, but honestly, I should be here more.

I made basic conversation with some girl in the pool, and her guy friends, we laughed a little, talked some more, messed around in the pool some more, but the second a guy and some of his friends walked in, I suddenly dissociated from the conversation.

Jake came in, laughter as one of his friends pushed him out, they seemed to be having a good time. He looked around initially, his smile dropping, but then his gaze met mine in the pool, and almost immediately, that smirk was back.

He walked by the edge of the pool with his friends, and despite the fact they were talking to him, his head was looking over at me.

"You wanna go in that pool so bad Jake?" Sunghoon asked him, almost like a threat really.

"What? Huh?" Jake turned his attention back to Sunghoon, who just gave a chuckle.

"Here, let me help." And with no further words, Sunghoon grabbed ahold of Jake, his arm around his neck and literally flung each other into the pool.

Everybody watched, wondering if they even like, were alive. Sunghoon literally slammed Jake into the water, tagging himself along with it.

But the two came up, laughing and giggling.

After a while of messing around in the pool, I decided that it'd be best for me to get out. Sure, it was fun and all, but for how long could you really stay in there for?

I climbed up, literally soaked, water seeping out of the fabric of my undergarments. Nobody cared, some people literally decided to skinny dip at one point - and that's where I lowkey drew the line.

No thanks, not for me.

Regardless, I swept my clothes off the floor, then placed them on a chair nearby. Was it even worth it squeezing the water out of my undergarments? Or should I just go home and change, after all, my house was opposite Heeseung's.

Speaking of which, I still had no idea where that guy was.

I head inside, people looking over at me, observing me from head to toe, guys with interested looks on their faces.

I walked past them all, heading upstairs and to grab a towel from somewhere. Thankfully, at least Heeseung had towels, the issue? There was literally one, this guy could not be serious.

Did people take all of his towels or something? Or did he seriously only have one?

With no other option, I just took the singular towel, proceeding to dry my hair first while walking around the top floor, I entered Heeseung's room, it was empty, of course.

I wasn't really there to lurk in his room, more of to go stand out on the balcony, and see what it's like for Heeseung to stare over at me on his balcony.

I slowly dried my hair, pressing the fabric against the strands of wet hair, and I suppose it didn't do much, but still. I took in the night sky as per usual, the wind blowing against me gently, and now since I was out of the pool - everything felt much colder than usual.

Goosebumps raised from my skin, and honestly, it was very cold for me now. Though, I wasn't exactly sure whether the goosebumps were from the cold, or from someone walking into the room, sliding the balcony door open, and standing beside me, water seeping from his clothes and hair.

I turned to look at him, and he just gave a light smile, his eyes didn't leave my face, didn't look at the fact that I was pretty much barely covering anything for once, all he did was observe my face with a gentle smile.
