The room was buzzing with anticipation. Balloons and streamers of Alessia's favourite colours, blue and white, adorned every inch of the space. The table was set with a spread of her favourite foods and a magnificent cake as the centrepiece, decorated with a miniature figure of her in a football jersey. Friends and family whispered excitedly, waiting for the moment when she would walk through the door.

You had spent weeks planning this surprise birthday party for Alessia Russo, your girlfriend and the love of your life. She was always the one surprising you, making every day feel special. This time, it was your turn to show her just how much she meant to you.

You glanced around the room, making sure everything was perfect. The lights were dimmed, ready to illuminate with a bright "Surprise!" when Alessia arrived. Everyone was in place, and you felt the flutter of nerves in your stomach, hoping everything would go smoothly.

The front door clicked open, and the room fell silent. You held your breath, heart pounding in your chest. Alessia stepped inside, her face momentarily puzzled by the darkness. Then, the lights flicked on, and a chorus of "Surprise!" erupted, echoing off the walls.

Alessia's eyes widened in shock, then filled with tears of joy as she took in the scene before her. She was speechless, her hand covering her mouth. You stepped forward, a grin spreading across your face.

"Happy birthday, Lessi," you said softly, stepping into her embrace. She pulled you close, burying her face in your shoulder.

"This is incredible," she whispered, her voice choking with emotion. "I can't believe you did all this for me."

You pulled back slightly to look into her eyes, brushing a stray tear from her cheek. "You deserve it, Alessia. You make every day special for me. It was about time I returned the favour."

The party was in full swing, laughter and music filling the air. Alessia made her way around the room, thanking everyone and soaking in the love and well-wishes. You watched her from a distance, heart swelling with pride and affection.

As the night wore on, the two of you found a quiet corner. She took your hand, her thumb gently tracing circles on your skin.

"This is the best birthday I've ever had," she confessed, her eyes shining. "And it's all because of you."

You smiled, leaning in to press a tender kiss to her lips. "I'm just glad you're happy, Alessia. That's all that matters to me."

She pulled you closer, resting her forehead against yours. "I love you," she whispered, her voice full of sincerity and love.

"I love you too," you replied, feeling a warmth spread through your chest.

The night was winding down, but the joy lingered in the air. As the last guests departed, Alessia turned to you, her expression soft and loving.

"Thank you for everything," she said, her voice filled with gratitude. "This has been a birthday to remember."

You wrapped your arms around her, holding her close. "It's not over yet," you teased, a playful glint in your eye.

She raised an eyebrow, curious. "Oh? What else do you have planned?"

You simply smiled, leading her to the bedroom where another surprise awaited. But that, you knew, was a moment just for the two of you.

And as the night continued, Alessia knew she was loved more than ever before, making it truly a birthday to remember.
