You had been rushing through the crowded campus, preoccupied with thoughts of your upcoming exams, when you spotted someone ahead who seemed oddly familiar. Squinting against the sun, you thought it was your friend Alessia Russo, known for her distinctive stride and bright smile.

Taking a chance, you dashed forward and leaped, intending to playfully tackle her from behind. But as you landed, both of you tumbled to the ground in a chaotic heap.

"I'm so sorry!" you exclaimed, rolling off the person and scrambling to your feet.

Alessia Russo, as it turned out, was indeed not your friend but a charming stranger with a bemused grin on her face. She brushed off the dust with a laugh, her eyes crinkling at the corners in amusement. "That was quite an entrance! Are you okay?"

Blushing furiously, you stammered an apology again, cheeks heating up at the unexpected encounter. "I... I thought you were someone else. I didn't mean to tackle you like that."

Alessia waved off your concern with a playful smirk. "Well, now that you've got me on the ground, you might as well introduce yourself properly."

You chuckled nervously, helping her up and introducing yourself. The conversation flowed effortlessly from there, filled with laughter and shared stories about campus life. Alessia was captivating, her wit matching her warmth, and soon you found yourself lingering longer than necessary, hoping to extend the fleeting moment.

As the day turned into evening, Alessia suggested grabbing a coffee together, and you eagerly agreed. With each sip and shared anecdote, the initial awkwardness melted away, replaced by a growing sense of connection. You marvelled at how a simple mistake had led to meeting someone so unexpectedly wonderful.

By the time you parted ways, exchanging numbers with promises to meet again soon, you couldn't deny the spark that had ignited within you. Falling in love might have been an accident, but it was a delightful one, sparked by a mistimed leap and a genuine smile.
