Vick flashed a bright smile at the camera, her energy as vibrant as ever. The studio was buzzing with excitement. Ella and Alessia sat on either side of the couch, with Callum squeezed in beside them both, looking a bit nervous but happy.
"Welcome back to The Tooney and Russo Show with me, host Vick Hope. I'm here with two of the most famous football friends, Ella Toone and Alessia Russo, and today we are also joined by a very special guest—Alessia's boyfriend, Callum."
"Thank you all for joining us today! Let's dive right in," Vick began. "Alessia, Callum, Ella—thanks for being here. We've got a lot to cover, so let's start with a fun question. Alessia, how did you and Callum meet? And what was your first date like?"
Alessia chuckled, glancing at Callum with a warm smile. "Well, it was a bit of a whirlwind. We met through mutual friends at a football charity event. I was on a panel, and Callum was there as a guest. We hit it off immediately. Our first date was at this cosy little Italian restaurant. We talked for hours, and honestly, it felt like we'd known each other forever."
Callum grinned, squeezing Alessia's hand. "I was definitely nervous, but it went better than I could have hoped. And the pasta was fantastic!"
Vick turned to Ella with a playful look. "Ella, what was your first impression of Callum? And have you guys had a double date yet?"
Ella laughed, shaking her head. "Oh, Callum was great from the start. I thought he was really down-to-earth and easy to talk to. Yes, we did have a double date. It was actually a lot of fun! Joe and I joined Alessia and Callum for dinner. We ended up playing charades afterward, and let's just say, Callum's impersonation of a penguin was memorable."
Alessia and Callum both burst out laughing, with Callum adding, "Ella was the reigning champ in charades, though. Joe and I couldn't keep up!"
Vick's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Let's talk about family. Alessia, Callum—what was it like meeting each other's parents for the first time?"
Alessia blushed slightly. "Meeting Callum's parents was lovely. They were incredibly welcoming. I think they were just as excited to meet me as I was to meet them."
Callum nodded. "Meeting Alessia's family was nerve-wracking, but they were wonderful. They made me feel right at home. I think it was pretty smooth, all things considered."
Vick shifted gears. "Have you two been on a family holiday together yet? If so, how was that experience?"
Callum shook his head. "Not yet. We've been so caught up with work and training, we haven't had the chance. But it's definitely on our bucket list."
Ella interjected with a grin, "Joe and I are hoping for a double holiday soon! Maybe we'll all plan something together."
Vick clapped her hands together. "That sounds like a plan! Now, let's mix things up a bit. I've got some fan questions here for Alessia, Callum, and Ella. First question: What's the most unusual place you've ever been recognized by a fan?"
Alessia laughed. "I was recognized at a very quiet, secluded library once. I was just trying to read in peace!"
Callum joined in, "For me, it was at a remote hiking trail. It was a surprise to see someone there who knew who I was."
Ella nodded. "I was recognized at a cooking class, which was amusing since I was trying to hide my terrible cooking skills!"
Vick smiled and then pulled out a card. "Now, for a fun quiz. We're going to see who knows Alessia better—Callum or Ella! Ready?"
Callum and Ella exchanged competitive glances.
Vick read out the first question. "What's Alessia's favourite film?"
Ella buzzed in first. "It's Man on Fire."
Callum nodded in agreement. "That's correct. But I was going to say that too!"
"Alright, next question," Vick continued. "What's Alessia's guilty pleasure snack?"
Callum was quick this time. "It's definitely chocolate."
Ella laughed. "I was about to say that, too!"
The quiz continued with laughs, playful banter and Callum winning by one point. Vick wrapped up the segment, thanking everyone for their participation and enthusiasm.
"Well, that was a blast! Alessia, Callum, Ella—thank you so much for being here. And to all our listeners, thanks for tuning in. We'll catch you next time on The Tooney and Russo Show!"
As the cameras faded out, the studio buzzed with a sense of camaraderie and joy, the guests exchanging smiles and laughter after a lively and engaging episode.
