Three weeks had passed since the last team bonding session at Katie McCabe's house, and once again, the Arsenal squad found themselves gathered in her cosy living room. The laughter, the banter, and the camaraderie were just as strong as ever, but there was an underlying buzz of excitement in the air.

You and Alessia Russo had spent the past few weeks navigating the new dynamic between you two—one that had shifted from close friends to something more. It was still fresh, still something you both were figuring out, but you both couldn't help the smiles that appeared every time you caught each other's eye.

The evening was in full swing when Ella made her entrance, bounding down the stairs with the same enthusiasm as before. Her phone was already in hand, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she approached you and Alessia, who were sitting close on the couch, her hand casually resting on your knee.

"Y/N, Alessia, you know what time it is!" Ella grinned, holding up her phone.

You shared a knowing look with Alessia before nodding. "Let's do it," you said, standing up and pulling Alessia with you.

Katie, who was nearby, rolled her eyes with a chuckle. "You two are becoming regulars on her TikTok. Might as well set up your own account at this rate."

Ella led you both up to her room again, the familiar setting now holding a different meaning as you and Alessia settled on the bed beside her. As Ella started the live, the comments began rolling in almost immediately, a flurry of excitement and curiosity from her followers.

"Alright, we're live again!" Ella announced with a grin. "And look who's back—Y/N and Alessia!"

The comments flooded in, and it didn't take long before the same question popped up that had sparked so much curiosity last time. Ella's eyes lit up as she read it aloud.

"Are Y/N and Alessia dating?"

You and Alessia exchanged a quick glance, both smiling as Ella looked between you two, waiting for you to answer. But before either of you could speak, Ella jumped in.

"Actually, I can answer this one!" she said, her grin widening. "Yes, they are officially dating! Sorry to steal your thunder, guys, but I had to do it."

The comments exploded with excitement—hearts, happy emojis, and congratulations flooding the screen. You and Alessia couldn't help but laugh, both of you blushing as you nodded to confirm what Ella had said.

"Yes, it's true," Alessia said, her hand finding yours. "We're officially together."

Ella beamed, clearly pleased with herself. "I knew it! They're literally perfect together, aren't they?"

The next question came through quickly, and Ella read it out loud. "'What was your first official date?'"

You and Alessia exchanged a glance, both of you smiling at the memory. "We went out for dinner at this little Italian place in town," Alessia began. "It was cosy, quiet, and just... perfect."

You nodded, adding, "We talked for hours, barely noticed the time passing. It was one of those nights where everything just felt right."

Another question popped up, and Ella read it with a chuckle. "'Who confessed first?'"

You raised your hand sheepishly. "That would be me. I couldn't keep it to myself anymore. Lessi had this way of making me feel like the luckiest person in the world, and I just had to tell her."

Alessia smiled warmly, reaching for your hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. "And I'm so glad you did," she said softly, making your heart flutter.

The comments continued to pour in, but Ella was quick to move on to other questions. The first one she picked out made her laugh.

"Okay, someone wants to know—Y/N, what's your go-to comfort food after a tough match?"

You thought for a moment before answering. "Honestly? It's got to be a big bowl of pasta. I know it's a bit cliché, but there's nothing like it after a long day."

"Carbs are life," Ella agreed with a laugh before reading the next question. "Alessia, this one's for you. What's the most embarrassing thing that's happened to you during a match?"

Alessia groaned, covering her face with her free hand. "Oh, there are too many to choose from! But I guess one that stands out was when I tried to take a quick throw-in and ended up slipping on the ball. I went down hard, and the ref had to stop the game because I couldn't stop laughing."

Ella and you both burst out laughing, and the comments seemed to enjoy the story just as much.

"Alright, next question," Ella said, still giggling. "Y/N, someone's asking—how do you deal with pre-game nerves?"

You smiled, thinking about your routine. "I like to focus on my breathing. I have this little mantra I repeat to myself, something simple like 'stay calm, stay focused.' It helps centre me before the game."

Ella nodded appreciatively before moving on to another question. "Ooh, this one's interesting. What's one thing you've learned from each other since joining Arsenal?"

Alessia answered first. "I think I've learned a lot about patience from Y/N. She's got this way of staying calm under pressure, and it's something I've been trying to pick up."

You smiled, squeezing her hand. "And I've learned how to be more assertive from Alessia. She's so confident on the pitch, and it's really inspiring."

Ella beamed at the sweet responses before picking out the next question. "This one's for both of you—what's your favourite memory from this season so far?"

You both thought for a moment before Alessia answered. "I think it has to be when we beat Chelsea. The atmosphere, the way the team came together—it was incredible."

You nodded in agreement. "Definitely up there for me too. But I'd also say our team bonding nights. They've been such a great way to build friendships and just relax with everyone."

One question made Ella burst into laughter as she read it. "'How does it feel being the McCabes' honorary sibling, Y/N?'"

You couldn't help but laugh as well. "Honestly, it's great. Katie's like the big sister I never had, and Ella here keeps me on my toes. I'm practically part of the family at this point."

Ella nodded enthusiastically. "Totally! We've adopted Y/N, whether she likes it or not."

Ella grinned as the comments agreed wholeheartedly. Then she read the last question. "Okay, final question—who's the most competitive on the team?"

You and Alessia answered in unison, "Katie McCabe."

Ella burst out laughing, and the comments were filled with laughing emojis. "No surprises there," she said. "Katie's got that fierce spirit."

The live session wound down after that, with Ella thanking everyone for joining and you and Alessia saying your goodbyes to the viewers. As Ella ended the live, she turned to you both with a satisfied smile.

"Thanks for doing that again," she said. "And congrats, by the way. You two are goals."

You smiled at Alessia, feeling that familiar warmth in your chest. "Thanks, Ella. And thanks for keeping us on our toes with these lives."

Alessia nodded in agreement. "Yeah, who knew TikTok could be so fun?"

As you all made your way back downstairs to rejoin the team, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the moments like these—where you could share a bit of your life with the people who mattered most, both on and off the pitch. The bond between you and Alessia had grown stronger, and as you rejoined the lively chatter of your teammates, you knew that this was only the beginning of an exciting new chapter in your lives.
