Gianna's Point Of View

After loading Lily and myself up, we sat in the cold car waiting for Eden. Lily talked about how excited she was and how she hoped to get the new Christmas edition of Squishmellows.

"Which one do you want to get?" I asked her as I turned in my seat, bundling myself up in Eden's jacket.

"All of them," she exclaimed with her eyes wide.

"All of them?" I repeated back, "That's a lot baby, aren't they 30 dollars each?" I added.

"I don't know, but for my birthday Auntie Eden brought the Valentine's Day collection," she said.

"She's the sweetest, huh?" I asked.

"Yes, I want to get her something really special for Christmas," Lily said frowning.

"What's wrong baby? I'm sure anything you get her would be fine," I assured her, grabbing her small hands out of her lap.

"But she buys me everything, I want to get her something she would love," she said.

"What do you think she would like?" I said maybe I could help her find something while we go shopping.

"Maybe a cute necklace?" She said.

"Okay we can look," I told her.

Her eyes immediately lit up, "really?" She smiled.

"Of course sweetie," I smiled back at her.

"But you have to keep it a secret," she whispered.

"I'm the best at keeping secrets," I teased making her laugh before failing into laughter of my own.

The driver's door opened roughly, revealing a stressed Eden, "what you two in here laughing for?" Her tone was light and teasing despite the look on her face.

"Just how when you sleep we're gonna spray your face with whipped cream," Lily replied sticking her tongue out.

"Oh really?" Eden's tone trailed off and her eyes found their way to mine, "You're gonna spray me while I'm asleep Gianna?" She said sarcastically.

"You'll just have to wait and find out?" I smirked causing Lily to laugh hard.

"Lily you're so rude! You're supposed to be on my team," Eden said starting the car.

"I'm sorryyy!!" Lily laughed harder.

"We're a team, aren't we, Lily?" I asked, winking at her. Lily nodded enthusiastically, still giggling.

Eden rolled her eyes playfully and said, "Alright, alright. Let's get going before you two plot any more mischief."

As we pulled off of the snowy runway Lily asked, "Can we listen to Christmas music, pleeease?" Eden smiled and turned on the radio playing familiar songs that I listened to growing up.

The drive was filled with festive music, Lily's singing and light snow falling on the windshield.
Since it was my first time seeing snowfall, I couldn't help but fall in love with the freezing cold powder that fell before me.
