Chapter Eighteen

Gianna's Point Of View

After drying my body off, and realizing that I'd didn't have clothes in the bathroom with me I wrapped my towel around my body and headed out of my bathroom to get clothes.

As I stepped out of the steam and into the chilly bedroom a loud gasp left my mouth when I saw Eden sitting on my bed.

She had her back against the headboard with her legs stretched out and her attention on her phone-clearly texting.

I took this opportunity to fully take her in, she wasn't in her previous outfit anymore. she now wore a silk pajama set with her dark hair over her shoulders. The jewelry she had was off and on my nightstand which felt so domestic, like it was natural.

My cheeks heated up when her dark eyes drifted off her phone screen to mine, "You need water or something?" She asked, turning her phone off.

"No, just clothes," I told her walking over to my suitcase.

Eden's gaze followed me as I moved, her eyes lingering on my towel-wrapped body. I could feel her attention like a caress, making goosebumps rise on my skin.

I tightened my towel around my body before bending down to open my suitcase.

"Right," she said, her voice low and husky. "Unless you just want to be naked."

My heart skipped a beat and for a second I thought I misheard her, I straightened up, my eyes locking onto Eden's. Her gaze was intense, her dark eyes trailed my body before meeting mine.

The smirk on her face confirmed that I hadn't misheard her. My face flushed and a flustered smile grew across my face.

"Don't be shy now, Didn't you just want to take a shower with me?" She asked sliding out of the bed.

"I-I'm not," I breathed out, suddenly feeling the air in my chest disappearing as she walked over to me.

"I-I mean yeah but now-,"

"Now you're less drunk?" She chuckled pulling me into her arms, "You're cute when you're flustered."

"I just- I don't know what I was saying," I said looking up at her.

A soft chuckle left her lips again, "I gotta go finish wrapping gifts, after you get dressed do you want to join me?" She smiled, gently grabbing my face.

I nodded a few times before her warm body closed the gap in between us and her soft lips met mine.

My eyes fluttered shut as I melted completely into her. My bare arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her deeper into me. Her lips were gentle, yet passionate, sending shivers down my spine.

She pulled away before giving me a fleeting kiss, and leaving the room so I could get dressed.

After changing into Hello Kitty Christmas pajama pants and a white cropped tank top I was headed downstairs to find Eden.

Where I only came up short after searching the living room, her room, the kitchen, and Lily's room.

I was about to give up and head back to my room when I heard the sound of wrapping paper rustling and Eden's soft humming coming from the hallway.
