Gianna's Point Of View

I let out a satisfying hum as I completed the bow on the box that held the cookies I baked for Eden. I admired the brown bow before placing the white box next to the bouquet I brought her.

A smile spread over my face, knowing I put so much time and effort in for her. Something that I always dreamed of.

I grabbed my phone, which displayed the current time.

6:45 PM

I quickly went to my room, stripping myself of the pink fluffy robe I had worn after taking a much-needed and very long shower.

After eating breakfast at Eden's, she dropped me off at home while she and Lily went to her office. I spent the afternoon deeply cleaning my apartment, clearing it of the many lesson plans that were scattered throughout the small space.

After cleaning my apartment, I went to the grocery store and bought ingredients to make homemade chocolate chip cookies and a beautiful bouquet of red roses and orange lilies.

I sprayed the Tom Ford perfume- gifted by Eden, on all my pulse points so that my perfume would last all night.

Setting the perfume down on the bathroom counter, I admired my outfit. I couldn't decide what to wear, and she didn't specify what we'd be doing tonight, so I wanted to keep it classy but straightforward enough to wear it anywhere.

My deep red dress showed off each curve of my body as the silk material spilled over them. The end of the dress flowed out, covering my ankles and barely revealing the open-toe lace-up heels I wore.

I added the finishing touches by securing mini gold hoops in my ears and a gold necklace with a ruby around my neck.

The doorbell rang, sending jolts of excitement through my body. I walked out of my bedroom, my heels clicking against the wood floors as I approached the front door.

As I reached my hand out for the door handle, a wave of anxiety shot through me.

What if our date doesn't go to plan? Is there even a plan?

I hesitantly opened the door and was at immediately met with Eden's beautiful smile. She wore a long-sleeved black dress that hugged her tightly and fell off her shoulders. She paired the dress with a gold matching bracelet and necklace set in the shape of clovers with sparkling diamonds.

Her light hair was in big, bouncy curls that resembled mine. My eyes trailed down to her hands. Her fingernails were freshly manicured, and she held the baby blue Dior bag I had brought her.

My anxiety dissipated instantly, replaced by a sense of calm and excitement.

"Hi," I smiled big, "you're wearing the purse," I pointed out.

Eden laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I couldn't resist," she said, holding up the bag for me to see. "It's beautiful, and it matches my outfit perfectly."

I smiled, happy that she liked the gift. "I'm glad you like it," I said, stepping aside to let her in.

As she entered, I couldn't help but notice how stunning she looked.

"Here, baby," she said, her voice low and husky, as she handed me a small gift bag. "I brought you something."

I took the bag, feeling a sense of surprise. "Thank you," I said, as I peeked inside to find a tiny baby blue box with a beautiful white bow wrapped around it, which had the words-

Tiffany & Co.

-Written over the top. I pulled out the box and hesitated to undo the bow. I slid the bow off the box and opened it, revealing a gorgeous silver beaded bracelet with a small bow pendant.
