It's almost been a whole week since Harlow and I returned from France, and I'm still reliving every moment. It really was like something out of a romance movie - and god do I love those.

Harlow and I haven't talked as much as I'd wanted this past week, but I understand her reasoning for being hauled up in her office for most of the day. With Luciano's message, containing a threat especially, she knows he's bound to be planning something and she still hasn't managed to find anything remotely important to base her next plans on. Clearly, he knows she's onto him day and night, and his security measures have probably majorly increased since the attack on Italy. But now that means he'll be more weary and out for Harlow a lot harder than before for getting so close.

Although we haven't talked a lot in person, we have texted. Whenever I didn't see Harlow, I checked up on her over text, and she texted back pretty fast. I went up to see her myself a few times when I could, bringing her up something to have whilst she was stuck in her office.

Yesterday, while we were texting, she brought up my driving lessons and sent me a file of my schedule for the next few weeks of the lessons. My heart warmed a little at the fact that, although she didn't have time for many things, she still had time to do this for me. Once I'd taken a look at the schedule, I noticed that the days I had lessons each week were practically chosen out at random - there was no set schedule or anything like that. One week I was taking lessons on Saturday and Sunday, the next it was just a Tuesday.

When I asked Harlow about this, not thinking much of it at first, she explained that she'd chosen these days deliberately as she thought it was the safest way for me to continue taking my lessons with Luciano's recent threat in mind. She said she didn't want me to fall into a continuous routine, because even something like this, something Luciano would take no interest in, could potentially allow him to plan another attack and give him more information on Harlow's plans and the whereabouts of people involved with her.

I understood her reasoning, mostly, but I decided not to question it. She knows what she's doing and what's best for everyone, I don't really have the same instincts.

I did notice that on the schedule she sent, my next lesson was the very next day, so I asked her whether she'd be joining me for my driving lesson, and I couldn't have been happier when she told me she'd be there.

But, when it came to the morning of the driving lesson today, my high hopes were torn down. I got ready for my lesson, wore a comfortable outfit, put my hair up into a low ponytail to get it out of my face and made my way downstairs to meet Carmen in the car.

I told her Harlow would be down to join us in a minute, but I felt like I was already lying to myself after we waited five minutes and she still hadn't shown.
