Today was one of our days off, as well as the day of my next driving lesson. Last week, the girls and I all planned we'd spend this day at the indoor pool, while also doing some online shopping. Nothing big, just relaxing and having fun.
When I woke up in the morning, I met up with the girls in their room, taking all of my stuff with me, so that we could all get ready and chat together before we went swimming. My driving lesson wasn't until later in the afternoon, so we had hours to have fun and spend time together.
We also thought it would be a good way to get Elena's mind off the situation with her mum. Of course, we're not trying to overlook it, but we can tell how much it's worrying her, so we wanted to take her mind off of it for at least a few hours and let her have some fun without constantly stressing about it.
I hadn't really had the chance to properly ask Harlow about Elena and her trip to see her mother since our weekend wasn't exactly very talkative. Harlow was working nonstop, barely taking any breaks, and when she did, we both missed each other's touch so bad we exchanged very little words and a lot of pleasure. It definitely wasn't the best chance to ask Harlow about Elena's situation, but I told Elena I would ask her, so that's my plan for today.
After I mentioned my lesson to Harlow this morning, she told me that she would do her best to attend, so I'm hoping to grasp her attention then and mention the situation. If not, I'll seek her out sometime today when I have a moment and mention it. Elena should be able to go visit her mum, especially in a situation like this - she seems really worried so it must be pretty bad.
When I got to the girls' room we all talked about the shopping we had to do - except we really didn't need any more shopping we already had so much stuff - and how much fun we'd have today, enjoying our day off.
"Which bikini, hot pink or a cute yellow?" Sam says, standing in front of the mirror, mind her, with a third bikini option already on her body. This girl cannot decide for the life of her.
"Go for hot pink, it's sexy," Vera says, winking at her in the mirror.
"Honestly both are cute, but Vera is right, hot pink is sexy," I say, shrugging and pulling out two bikini options I had packed.
"Agreed," Elena says, walking out of the bathroom and pointing towards Sam's hot pink bikini in her left hand.
I lay out my bikinis on the empty bed before me. "Red or black and gold?" I ask the girls, and they turn their heads and look down at the bed, pondering their answers.
"I say gold and black, it compliments your tanned skin so well, ugh I am so jealous," Vera responds, scoffing jokingly as she goes back to choosing her bikini.
"Ooh, black and gold definitely, Vera is so right," Elena responds, then holds up two different bikinis. One is leopard print, the other is light blue.
I point to the leopard print one she nods with a smile, walking into the bathroom to change.
"Occasionally," Sam replies to Elena's words regarding Vera, to which Vera rolls her eyes, "But yes Elodie, although red is a sexy sexy colour, black and gold is my pick."
