Madisyn McKinning was back and better than ever.
The girl had spent a couple weeks at her mom's boyfriend, Matthew's house after the Goodwill Games. Matthew's house was in Minnesota conveniently which meant Madisyn got to spend more time with the Ducks. It was a hard goodbye for the girl, who had no clue what her future would be holding for her.
So when she gets a scholarship to Eden Hall Academy for hockey, things are turned around for the better once again.
