" Nice of you to finally join us." Russ teased as Madisyn walked up to them. She smiled sarcastically and shoved him away. The team was watching varsity finish up their practice, all pitching in small remarks about the team or rink.

" Come on, guys, we could skate out there." Connie said after Charlie. Madisyn shrugged and opened the rink door. She gestured inside of it.

" Well let's go then."

Charlie was the first to skate in followed by Madisyn, Connie and Fulton. The rest of the team all followed behind them more hesitantly. A few players from varsity stopped in front of them.

" If it isn't Captain Ducky." The same guy from the assembly taunted, resting a hand on Charlie.

" Get your hands off him." Fulton pitched in and throwed the guy's hand off of Charlie, throwing them a dirty look.

" Ooh look, a Bash Brother. I'm so scared." The blonde jock mocked. Madisyn rolled her eyes.

" Good. Can you leave now? It's our rink time." She bluntly asked and skated around them and around the rink, doing laps. The varsity players looked at her then back to the team.

" Feisty, isn't she?" The leader smirked. Adam lunged forward but Guy and Fulton held him back. They laughed and skated away once their coach broke it up.

Madisyn skated back to her group, purposely bumping shoulders with the big blonde guy as varsity left the rink. He gave her a nasty look which grew into a smirk when his team started laughing. She stopped next to Connie.

" How 'bout it Cowboy, round up?" Charlie asked Dwayne.

" Hey Charlie, shouldn't we wait for the new coach before we mess around?" Connie and Madisyn asked at the same time.

" This is how we practice. Duck hockey, Connie, Madi, " Charlie shook his head. " You'll have to get used to it sooner or later." He looked back to Dwayne. " Well, come on, cowboy. Hit it."

" Yee haw! Round 'em up, doggies!"

Madisyn nodded. Charlie was captain. She started skating away. Her and Goldberg were skating together, she looked back to see Adam being the first person out. Her laugh boomed across the rink, making her boyfriend turn to her with an unimpressed look. Dwayne went for Julie and Connie. She laughed at something he said and heard someone fall. They looked over to see Charlie on the ice, someone in front of him. A whistle blew.

" There's our que." Goldberg muttered, nudging Madisyn over to the team.

" My name is Coach Orion. You can call me "Coach" or "Coach Orion"." A blonde man with a hockey stick and stern look on his face introduced himself.
