the next day. (october, 2022.)

PAIGE WAS OVER THE MOON. She would've skipped if she could back to her apartment the night before. It was such a shame she had class the next day or her and Cameron would've stayed out longer. Everything felt normal between them again, which felt a little weird at first because Paige was so used to them arguing. She wished thay her knee would hurry up and recover so she could play basketball quicker. She even had an idea, to have Cameron play with her. It wasn't her brightest idea, but aside from having Cameron back in her life in general, she wanted her back on the court too. Her, Azzi, Nika, and Cameron could do some real damage and finally get a ring before they graduated or went to the draft.

She also knows Cameron is battling an injury too, and any type of head contact will screw her over, but that's fine. They'd work on that. Paige doesn't know how to necessarily bring the idea up to Cameron, but she'd figure it out. If there's anything Paige missed more than playing basketball currently, it was playing with her. They were such an unstoppable duo when they were younger and for those two years of high school. They deserved more time together. They were thunder and lightning.

It was the middle of the day, Paige already finished her physical therapy for the day so she had nothing else to do other than watch the team practice, or study. She also had to talk to Cameron, but that was non-negotiable. She saw Klaus and Spencer sitting down at a table in the library, she decided to join them. Spencer was doing his homework, and well, Klaus was doing the opposite of that. "Hi, Spencer."

"Hi, P."

"What he is up to?" Spencer glances to his left, raising his eyebrow slightly as he looked at Klaus. Klaus had his textbook open, but he wasn't even reading it. He was messing around with sticky notes.

"I think he's trying his new hobby." Spencer mutters as he looks back to his textbook, laughing softly.

"New hobby?"

"Origami, the thing where you make cool shit with paper."

"I know what that is. But I thought he was super into legos?"

"That was last week's hobby. Keep up."

"Oh, right. I see." Paige snorts. "Are you busy?"

Spencer's green eyes stay on his textbook for a brief moment before he glances at Paige over his glasses. He looks back down to the Paige he was reading, then closes it. "No."

"Are you sure I didn't interrupt?"

"My study buddy isn't being very useful, so I'm sure," he smiles softly. "What's up?"

"I need an opinion from the both of you."

Klaus doesn't lift his head up at all, he's too into the paper he has in his hands. Spencer rolls his eyes gently and bats the paper from his hands, getting him to look up. "Hey!! What did you do that for?"

"Paige needs your attention."

Klaus' eyes slide from Spencer's to Paige's, quickly daring them at her. "This better be important."
