THE BUS RIDE was 45 minutes without traffic. With traffic, it was an hour, maybe more than that. Cameron wasn't going to nap on the bus because it was supposed to be a 45 minute bus ride to the Big East Championship. Now, they've been in traffic for half an hour, and Cameron is really wishing she fell asleep.

Given that this was her first official year on the team, they don't know she has a photographic memory and some wicked thing for numbers. They all figured it was the perfect time to grill her. She wasn't not very enthused at first. So, Paige told everyone that she has super powers.

"Go on, Cam. Tell them about your powers," Nika says from across the aisle as Paige nudges her to sit up. Cameron fights off an eye roll — and a sigh as she sits up.

"Uh," Cameron starts, "I'm good with numbers, and I remember literally everything."

"She can do shit with her eyes closed!" Paige says for her as she sits up too.

"Woah," Ice says, "We don't want to hear that."

"No! Not that like, I'm fucking serious. She walked me in her driveway with her eyes closed! She can do it on skates too!"

"Oh shit," Aubrey chimes in, "That's right. You're a double athlete."

Nika smirks, "She's a freak."

Cameron blushes from all of the attention, she desperately wishes she took a nap.

"A total freak," Paige says. Cameron doesn't have to turn around to know that her girlfriend is smirking. Her and Nika are sharing a look too, and sometimes, Cameron feels like a third wheel in her own relationship.

Cameron also thinks that in some other universe Paige and Nika would kill each other over her. If anything, Nika was definitely the secret third thing in her their relationship. It went unspoken about for sure, but it was totally a thing. Maybe in an another universe Paige and Nika would share her and be cool with it. Cameron doesn't really put much thought into it.

"I figured it out when I was really young and I beat Paige at mini golf. Everything was about angles and math."

Paige rolls her eyes at the mention of their first mini golf match, it gets a chuckle out of the team. "Cam was so weird before every game. She'd find a way to sneak into the gym and drag me with her just in case. She'd stand in the middle of the court and stare at each half of the court."

"Did she ever tell you what she was doing?" Ines
asks.

Paige shakes her head, "Nah, it was weird at first. She'd make me stand in certain spots without telling me why. I never questioned it because when I was at those same spots during the game, Cameron would make a crazy play. It was genuinely the craziest thing ever."
