Shameless, Reckless Love (GirlxGirl)

Part 1: Chapter 5

At the Kesh & Grab, Eden puts cold drinks in the back of the freezer. She notices her hand trembling as she awaits the day for the Milkovichs to come after her. And apparently, Eden wasn't going to wait any longer. As Eden, shakily, put the last drink into the cooler, the store door swung open.

"Eden Gallagher!!" a rough, female voice called out from the front of the store. "You messed with the wrong boy!" Eden reacted quickly by running out the freezer room and toward the store room across. As she did, she was able to take a quick glance at who the voice belonged to. Mitchell's sister had raven black hair just like his. But she had sharp, blue eyes that seemed to ripple like water even from afar. It was probably due to the rage. She was very pale, though everyone seemed to look like that in this neighborhood. And her clothes were loose-fitting, which indicated that she wore many hand-me-downs... from her brothers.

As soon as they all noticed Eden at the door, they sprinted toward her. Eden was quicker than them, and locked the door instantly. The brothers were yelling, but the Milkovich sister was aggressively trying to break the freaking door down.

"Come out of there, Gallagher!" she continued yelling through the door. Eden stepped back, flinching at every cuss word and bang on the door the sister made. "Mitchell told us what you did, you little shit! Get out here!" she yelled more impatiently. Kesh then quickly runs over to the scene.

"She's gone. There's a door in the back of the store room." Kesh explains to them.

"Alley! Alley!" the sister orders her brothers, and they all run out the store. Before the sister leaves, she grabs Kesh's shirt and pins her to the wall. "Tell fuckhead this is not over!" she orders Kesh, and leaves the store after knocking over a small shelf. Kesh sighs and goes to grab the store keys off the front counter and then quickly locks the door. She walks over to the store room and knocks softly.

"Eden, they're gone." Kesh tells her. Eden goes to unlock the door, and Kesh looks at her with pity once she opens it.

"I didn't do anything wrong." Eden says. Kesh nods, believing her, and pulls her in for a deep embrace.

For days, the Milkovich siblings continue to look for Eden who does a good job at hiding. Eden couldn't believe how far Mitchell had gone with everything. It made her even more furious that she was supposed to be punished for defending herself. But deep down Eden knew she was too soft to purposely look for any trouble. So she decided to continue hiding.

During times when Eden was trying to not be seen on the streets by the Milkovichs, she heard around that the bad shit crazy sister was named Ricki. Ricki is known to be the trashiest, but toughest girl on the South Side. She barely attends her classes in high school and mostly would roam the streets, selling drugs with her brothers. She was rude and rough just like her siblings and, apparently, her shitty parents as well.

One morning, Lib walks the streets and notices Ricki and her two other brothers come out of the Kesh & Grab. Ricki holds what looks like a long metal rod, and Lib pulls at her shirt collar.

"Uh-oh." She whispers under her breath, and tries to keep her walk casual.

"Hey!" Ricki yells to Lib. Lib didn't have time to change direction, since they were all in her way and she'd seem too suspicious. Lib lifts her head up more confidently, and walks forward. "I got a B+ on that English paper you wrote for me." Ricki says.

"Oh yeah? Well you should spread the word. It's good for business." Lib tells her. "I heard they're letting Iggy out of juvie." Lib says, referring to the Milkovichs' older sister.
