The morning approached, 7 AM, and Eden thought that Fabian would break the Milkovich's door down if she didn't come back home when he wanted her back. She washed up in the bathroom and changed her clothes. As she was sitting in Ricki's bedroom, getting her bag ready, she looked over at Ricki sleeping with her arms and legs sprawled everywhere. Eden knew Ricki's parents were nowhere in sight, so she crawled on top of Ricki and began giving her love bites to her shoulder and then neck. It took about a minute for Ricki to finally stir and open her eyes to look at Eden.

"Going somewhere?" Ricki sleepily moans.

"Home." Eden says, sucking downward to Ricki's chest. "I want to see you at work. Kesh & Grab. Today. 1 pm. Got it?" Eden orders. Ricki nods, but was barely paying any attention to her words. "Don't disappoint me, and I promise I won't disappoint you." Eden says, giving Ricki's breast a tug. Ricki chuckles, and Eden lifts herself up.

But she stops herself for a second, and leans back toward Ricki to give her a long kiss on her tiny, exposed birthmark. Ricki's eyes widen, and she tried getting rid of her blush once again. Eden finally lifts herself all the way up and grabs her backpack.

"Don't ever do that again." Ricki warns. Eden walks out the room, smiling, knowing what Ricki really meant to say.

Eden finally walks inside her house where she sees everyone eating breakfast at the table. Meaning Lib as well.

Eden tries her best to keep her cool. She places her backpack on the couch and walks into the kitchen. Fabian, who is at the counter, looks over at Eden as she goes to grab a bowl and a spoon.

"Thank you for being here at a decent hour." Fabian says, not to Eden's surprise. "How was it over there?"

"Fine I guess." Eden answers, sitting down in the seat across from Lib. It was better than being here, Eden thinks in her head. She then grabs the cereal box on the table and pours some into her bowl.

"Alright, Gallaghers, listen up!" Fabian suddenly announces. He walks over to his siblings and gives them each 15 bucks. "This is for school supplies and new school clothes." Fabian tells them all with emphases on the "school" part. "No drugs, beers, or action figures! And I also want receipts! Okay, so I know Eden already handed me about $14 from her raise. Dec, how's babysittin'?" Declan looks up at him, raising his eyebrow.

"You mean, how's the money?" Declan corrects.

"Yes. That's exactly what I mean." Fabian replies.

"I already put it on your nightstand." Declan says, and pushes a bowl of cooled-down oatmeal toward Leona's side of the table.

"Cool. Thanks, kiddo." Fabian says, and goes to grab a small cleaned-out Crisco jar full of small, white envelops filled with cash.

That was the Gallaghers' Squirrel Fund.

Since summer always ended right before everyone's eyes, the kids had to always be prepared for the brutal falls and winters that were soon to come. Everyone chipped in any way they could.

"Okay, next: Declan, I need you to find any old backpacks. Most likely some of yours. Cora hated her rose petal one, so whatever has blue colors or skulls on it, just give it to Cora." Fabian says.

Declan nods, and looks over at Cora who has milk messily dripping down her chin.

"Cora, you can try to find old school books that you, hopefully, haven't ripped to shreds down in the basement." Fabian tells her.

"Roger that." Cora replies.

"Eden, you and Lib can clean out the pool." Fabian tells her. "I think there may be a few surprises in there for you." Lib sighs, looking down at her bowl. Eden then clears her throat.

"Cora, tell Lib to do it herself." Eden says to Cora, and pours her milk into the bowl.

"Lib, Eden said to do it yourself." Cora tells Lib without hesitation. Lib shakes her head.

"Cora," Lib starts. "Tell Eden that she's being a douche face for not talking to me." She finishes, childishly.

"Eden, Lib says you're bein' a douche–..." Eden puts her hand over Cora's mouth.

"Hold on, wait a second." Fabian says, holding his hands in the air. "Are you guys... beefing?"

In the house, everyone always argued to someone.

Eden about Fabian and her curfews... Fabian about Lib and boys... Declan about Cora's mischievous antics... and Lib about Declan going through her women magazines. Everyone argued to everyone. Except for Lib and Eden.

"How much do you wanna bet that it's about a boy?" Declan suddenly asks.

"None." Fabian answers him. "What's goin' on with you two?" he then asks Eden and Lib. The girls do not answer. Even though Eden was very mad with Lib, she slightly appreciated the fact that Lib wasn't planning on ratting her out about the whole West Point decision.

"I should get to work." Eden says, eating her last spoonful of cereal.

"Nice try. Your shift doesn't start until the afternoon." Fabian says. Lib then gets up.

"Cool, then I'll step out." She dumps her bowl into the sink, and leaves out the back door. Fabian drums his fingertips on the countertop and finally decides to go after Lib.

"You could work on that pool." Fabian tells Eden before leaving. Eden sucks her teeth, and begins to get out of her chair until Cora speaks.

"So, what's a douche?" Cora asks. Eden looks up awkwardly at her and at Declan.

"It's something I personally wouldn't use." Eden says, and walks up to her room.
