Meanwhile.

Ricki was walking around in a tank top and wearing Mitchell's boxers while eating a tub of coffee ice cream with a giant spoon. Yup. These were most of her Fridays during the summer. But besides that, she's been in juvie so long that she felt like she just needed to settle in. She'd be in her usual active mood in no time.

Ricki hadn't left the house at all today either. And it had everything to do with the night before. With Eden and her confession, Ricki needed time to herself. But in other words, it was just hiding. One of the things Ricki finds herself being very good at.

There's a knock at the door, and Ricki waits for one of her siblings to get up since her ass is too lazy. Finally, Mitchell emerges from his room. As soon as his door opens, music seemed to explode throughout the house. Ricki slowly began to regret showing him punk rock.

"You couldn't get the door?" Mitchell shouts over the music. Ricki cups her hand around her ear, acting as if she couldn't understand him. She was actually surprised that Mitch heard much of anything over the music. But sometimes a knock on the door seems to shake the house anyway. Ricki begins walking over to the couch, as Mitchell goes to the door.

"Oh, hey, what's up?" Mitchell says excitedly, after opening the door.

"Hey, Mitch." That soft voice could never be forgotten. Ricki's spoon slips from her hand and goes into the bowl of ice cream. As she turns around, Ricki sees Eden. She was in grey shorts and wore a damp, green V-cut shirt. Her hair was wet and it dripped along her face. Her skin was paler than it normally looked, since she was underneath the moonlight, and so her lips were redder as well. So many thoughts raced around Ricki's mind, but the one thing she constantly thought about was: Did she come to see me?

"I hope you don't mind me coming. I know it's late." Eden says, and doesn't even give Ricki a quick glance.

"Shut up." Mitch tells her, hugging her. "Come in." Eden walks inside, clutching her hand onto her one backpack strap. That's when she finally looks at Ricki. Even though it was a short gaze, it felt like time slowed itself down for Ricki to share a moment with Eden only for a little while. The music drowned out in Mitch's room, and it was only the two girls speaking with their eyes once again.

"Was it raining?" Mitchell jokes, breaking the "moment". Eden smiles.

"No." she replies. "But it's a really long story."

"Cool, tell me all about it. You sleeping over?" Mitchell asks.

"Yeah, if that's cool." Eden answers.

Woah, woah, woah, Ricki thinks to herself. This would get awkward.

"Of course it's fine. We can stay up, play video games and shit." Mitchell says, wrapping his arm around Eden's shoulder. They both start to walk.

"I didn't bring pyjamas." Eden remembers.

"It's cool. You can wear one of my boxers." Mitchell tells her, and looks back at Ricki. "You guys could match." Ricki stops her staring, and sits down on the couch to turn the TV set on.

"I think my waist is a bit too small." Eden laughs. "I can wear a shirt." Mitchell nods, and goes to his room and comes back to toss Eden his Vamps T-shirt.

"If you wanna shower, go to the bathroom down the hall there." Mitchell says, pointing forward.

5 minutes passed by, and Ricki was still uncomfortably sitting on the couch thinking about how awkward this night was going to be. Mitchell distracted her by leaning over the couch and shoving a towel in Ricki's face.
