Across the street from the Gallagher house, Fabian finally reaches Lib. Lib doesn't look back at Fabian and just continues walking forward.

"Look," Lib finally says. "I know stalking our every move is your thing, but I'm trying to have a peaceful walk by myself."

"What's up with you and Eden?" Fabian stubbornly asks anyway. Lib stuffs her hands in her back pockets, but doesn't respond. "It's not actually about a boy, is it?" Fabian asks. "Well, if it is, I've learned that when you and a friend like the same person, you both should just forget about 'em. Ya know? Ya move on. There's plenty of dudes in the sea, and one for each of you. And there's no need to settle down so quickly."

Lib suddenly lights a cigarette, and puts it to her lips.

"Is Mr. Hopeless Romantic really trying to give me relationship advice right now?" Lib asks, finally looking back at Fabian. "Changing the subject: is Granddaddy still hangin' in there?"

"Yeah. Doesn't look so good though." Fabian answers.

"Faye still taking care of him?" Lib asks, blowing out smoke.

"Who in the world can actually handle Granddaddy Gallagher?" Fabian asks, chuckling. "I'm sure Faye's trying to take care of him. She can't even take care of herself."

"Should we expect to find her dead in the next couple of days then?" Lib jokes. "It's funny. I wonder if any of us will take care of her like that when she's dying." Fabian nods, knowing that he wonders the same thing.

"Changing the subject." Fabian mocks. "I knew it wasn't actually about boys. You guys aren't like that anyway." He says. Lib stops her walking for a moment, and continues inhaling her cigarette. "But I get the feeling that it's something worth keeping secret about. But just know that Gallaghers don't cheat each other. When we make any promises, we handle that shit. Trust is what keeps us together."

Lib turns around to look at Fabian with amazement. He may have been just as immature as the rest of the kids, but in any serious situation, he did indeed have some talent when it came to reading right through his siblings. Trust, Lib thinks to herself.

"What about Mel?" Lib then asks. Fabian shakes his head and stuffs his fists in his pockets.

"I don't care what the tests would say. He is not one of us." Fabian reassures. Lib nods in full agreement. "I need you two. I can't make it without you. So make it right with Eden." Fabian continues.

Why am I always put responsible? Lib asks herself.

Afterwards, Fabian walks back to the house to get ready for work, and Lib stands there, thinking of ways to fix a promise.
