In the morning, New brought Nanon to one of the most prestigious schools in Bangkok. They went to see the head teacher for Nanon's admission. The head teacher greeted them warmly and addressed Nanon, "Nanon, is that your name?"
Nanon nodded confidently, "Yes."
The teacher smiled, "Do you want to study here from now on? Are you okay with that?"
Nanon replied enthusiastically, "Yes, my papa already taught me many things."
The teacher, impressed, asked, "Oh really? Then can you recite a rhyme for me?"
Nanon recited it perfectly without hesitation. The teacher then posed a few junior math questions, which Nanon answered correctly and quickly.
The teacher said, "Oh, you're really a smart boy!" She then turned to New and said, "He's very good at studying."
New responded, "He can remember books easily, so I don't have to teach him much." The teacher smiled, "That's wonderful. I'll be happy to have him study here."
New added, "If there's any problem, call me immediately. He can be a little stubborn sometimes."
The teacher reassured him, "Don't worry, Mr. Thitipoom. I'll call you if anything happens."
New knelt down to speak to Nanon quietly, "Today you also have class, okay? Don't be naughty and don't fight with anyone like you do with me."
Nanon promised, "Okay, I will be a good boy. Don't worry."
New smiled, "Good. Then I'm going to the office. You want me to bring you home today, right?"
Nanon nodded, "Yes, you have to bring me home."
New agreed, "Okay, my darling. Now go to class with the teacher."
The teacher turned to New once more and said, "Other children usually cry on their first day, but your boy seems so excited."
New laughed, "Yes, he's always excited to try new things. Oh, I forgot to mention, please don't let anyone say bad things in front of him. He learns very fast, and if it's something bad, he will understand and might cry a lot. No one can calm him down unless I come here."
The teacher reassured him again, "Don't worry. No one will say anything bad to him."
New then left for his office. He greeted everyone warmly, and they returned the greetings. Jack came over to him, saying, "Welcome back, New."
New replied, "I have to leave today at 1 o'clock to pick Nanon up from school. After that, I'll come back."
Jack shook his head, "No problem, New. You already joined the office earlier than you said. It's okay, you don't have to come back in the evening."
New insisted, "No, I have to come, or I'll spend the whole night awake, and Nanon will keep nagging me to sleep. He won't sleep if I'm not there."
Jack chuckled, "Your son is so little but knows how to take care of his papa."
New smiled, "He's a naughty one. Now, I have to go do my work."
Tay entered the office, and everyone stood up to greet him. He greeted them back. Jack noticed and said to New, "With him here now, you do your work. I'll go check."
New nodded. Jack approached Tay and asked, "Sir, is there something I can help you with?"
Tay announced, "From now on, I will be working here."
Everyone was surprised because the main company was located elsewhere, and it was unusual for the owner to work at a branch office. Tay continued, "I know what you guys are thinking. Actually, this company is central to all the branches, so I am thinking of making this branch the main company. This will benefit everyone."
