New was working diligently in his office when Tay called him. Tay instructed his assistant to send New to his cabin. When New arrived, he knocked and entered, saying, "You called me, sir?"

Tay noticed New's swollen eyes. It was something subtle that others might not notice, but Tay did. He wondered if New had been crying and what could have caused it. Tay was lost in thought, thinking of how he could approach New about this without making him uncomfortable.

New called out again, "Sir?"

Tay snapped out of his thoughts and replied, "I need you to do some work here."

New, slightly puzzled, asked, "Here? Why can't I go to my cabin and do my work there?"

Tay insisted, "No, we need to work together on this, and my cabin is big enough, so it won't be a problem."

New nodded, sat down, and said, "Give me the details." Tay handed over the documents, and they began working together. At one point, Tay needed clarification on something and called New over. "New, come here and see if this is right."

New walked over to Tay's side, bent down to look at the computer, and explained, "Oh, here, it would be better if we put this thing here, so our mechanical side will be better."

While New focused on the computer, Tay couldn't help but stare at him, thinking about what might be troubling him. New noticed and said, "Sir, did you hear what I said?"

Tay, caught off guard, replied, "Yes, I heard. What is it?"

New, realizing Tay wasn't paying attention, said, "You didn't hear anything I said."

Tay apologized, "Sorry, I got a little distracted."

New sighed, shook his head, and repeated the explanation.

When it was time for Nanon's school tiffin break, New checked the time and told Tay, "I need to call my son, so give me a break."

Without waiting for permission, New tried to leave, but Tay stopped him, saying, "You can call here. There's no need to go outside."

New, concerned about disturbing Tay's work, said, "I don't want to disturb you."

Tay reassured him, "It's okay. You can make the call here."

New nodded and called Nanon's teacher. "Hello, is it tiffin time?"

The teacher replied, "Yes, Mr. Thitipoom. I know why you're calling. I'll give him the phone now."

Nanon took the phone and said, "Papa!"

New smiled and asked, "Yes, baby. Did you eat?"

Nanon replied, "Not yet."

New encouraged him, "Then open your tiffin and eat, okay?"

Nanon hummed in agreement, opened his tiffin, and began eating without saying much more. This made New feel very bad, knowing he needed to talk to his son about his sadness. He said, "Nanon, do you want me to pick you up from school?"

Nanon replied, "No, you work in your office. I'll go with Grandma."

New, feeling a bit disheartened, ended the call and told Tay, "Sir, I have to go now."

Tay, concerned, asked, "What happened? Is something wrong with Nanon?"

New reassured him, "No, I just have some work to do. You can send me the files, and I'll complete the work. Don't worry." With that, he left the office.

Tay stood there, watching him leave, still worried.

New went to Nanon's school and waited for it to close. When Nanon saw his papa, he ran over, surprised. "Don't you have work, Papa?"
