New looked at Tay, who was now silently eating his food, looking much less happy than before. New said, "You guys don't have to help me."

Nanon asked, "Papa, do you really love someone other than us?"

New replied, "Not really, we just became friends," and he stared at Tay.

Tay thought, Does he really like Atom? What am I going to do? Get away from him? But if I don't see them, how can I live? Feeling really sad, Tay said, "Guys, you all eat. I'll be back from the washroom." With that, he got up and left.

New just watched him leave. Nanon asked, "Papa, do I know the person?"

New replied, "You know the person, and you love the person too."

Nanon said excitedly, "Really? Who is the person then? I love Uncle. Uncle in—"

New stopped him, saying, "You'll know later, but for now just eat, okay?"

Nanon nodded and continued eating. New urged, "Everyone eat fast, we'll play another time."

After some time, Tay returned and sat in his chair, eating silently. Jack asked, "Sir, what happened to you? You don't seem as happy as a moment ago."

Tay responded, "You're seeing things. I'm happy, just eat."

Everyone continued eating. After they finished, the chef came and asked, "Mr. Tawan, do you need anything else?"

Tay asked, "Do you guys need anything more?"

Everyone replied, "No, sir, we're too full."

Tay said, "We don't need anything else. Give me the bill."

The chef said, "Sir, you don't have to pay. You are the owner."

Tay insisted, "So what? Just give me the bill." The waiter handed him the bill, Tay paid it, and then went to his car. He said, "Get in, Nanon. I will drive you both."

Nanon asked, "Today, will you sleep with us?"

Tay replied, "No, Nanon. Today I have some work tonight."

Nanon said, "Okay, then next time." Tay just smiled at him without saying anything.

During the ride, Nanon fell asleep. Tay and New remained silent. When they arrived at New's house, New picked Nanon up in his arms. Tay got out and said, "Let me carry him." New didn't say anything, just handed Nanon to him. Tay carried Nanon to his room, laid him down gently, petted his hair, kissed his forehead, and then left without speaking to New.

New stood there, thinking, Did he get sad because I said I love someone? Hmm, did he get who I am talking about? I told him everything about my past. I even told him about Nanon, which I never told anyone. I talk to him more than anyone. I let him span the night at my home, which I never let anyone do. I let him drive me home and eat here every time he wants. What else does he want me to do? Still, he didn't get it.

New shook his head and thought, If he's sad thinking I love someone else, then let him be sad. I'm not going to tell him. Just do as he likes.

After that, New lay down, kissed his son cheek, and said, "Your dad is stupid." Then he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

The next day, Tay didn’t come to bring New to the office. So, New took a taxi, dropped Nanon at school, and went to work. He stared at Tay’s office until Jack came over and said, "He didn't come today. He called and said he has some meetings with another company, so he went there."

New nodded and went to his own office, but he couldn't fully focus on his work. He thought, Should I call him or not? After some hesitation, he picked up the phone but put it back down. Finally, he dialed Tay's number, but there was no response. He tried again but still got no answer. He thought, He must be in a meeting. That's why he isn't picking up.
