Tay took a deep breath and said, "I don't love a girl. I love a boy."
New didn't say anything; he just sat there, trying to process Tay's words. Tay began his story, "One day, I went to a bar, and there I met a beautiful, cute boy. I had never seen anyone like him."
New thought to himself, "Who could that guy be to make Tay love him this much?"
Tay continued, "He was alone at the bar, so I went to talk to him, but he didn't want to talk to me. The first time I saw him, I knew he was somehow unhappy."
New interrupted, "How did you know he was unhappy when you met him for the first time?"
Tay smiled at New's question. New, feeling a bit annoyed, asked, "Why are you smiling? Did I say something funny?"
Tay, still smiling, replied, "No, just listen, okay?" New nodded, and Tay continued, "I tried to talk to him a lot, but he was so stubborn and didn't want to talk. I got a call from my dad, and after I finished talking, I saw him drinking a lot, so I grabbed his hand to stop him. But he let go of my hand and walked away."
New began to feel that the story was familiar but stayed silent. Tay went on, "When he walked away, I went back to my friend, but I somehow felt uneasy letting him go drunk like that. So I went out to check on him."
New asked, "You saw him for the first time but cared about him from then?"
Tay said, "I liked him from the moment I saw him. Listen, I went out and saw some guy trying to take him away. So I went to him. Luckily, I knew how to fight, so they left him alone. I asked him where he lived so I could drive him, but he was too drunk to speak. So I brought him to my house, but to my horror, they had given him some kind of drug. He tried to have sex, but I didn't want our first night to be like that."
New now completely understood who Tay was talking about but remained silent, listening to Tay.
Tay continued, "I tried to calm him down, let him take a cool shower, but he still didn't get came down. In the end, we did it, but I promised him that night would not be our last night. I would find him and make him like me as I did for him. He probably forgot everything that happened between us. The next day, when I woke up, he was no longer with me. I was somehow disappointed not to see him. I tried to find him, asked everyone if they had seen him, but they all said he had left early in the morning."
Tay's voice trembled as he recounted, "I went to my best friend's off and told him everything. At first, he didn't want to help me, but after many requests, he said he would help me find him. I tried so hard to find him. He wasn't active on social media. I didn't know his full name, where he lived, or anything about him. After searching for six months, one night I had a terrible dream about him. I didn't know why I dreamt that he was struggling so much. I panicked and didn't know what to do or where to go to see him and take a deep breath knowing he was okay. Maybe God didn't want us to meet early."
Tay paused, his voice breaking, "After about eight months, I had another bad dream, worse than before. I felt a pain in my chest, so I went to church to pray for him, donated money to the poor so they could pray for his health. After a day, I didn't feel the pain anymore, so I thought he was okay, and I felt relieved."
Tay continued, "After maybe three years or two years and eight months later, I saw him again in a bar. I just froze there, not knowing what to say. Of course, he didn't recognize me.I didn't know what to do. We found his friend, so we thought we could follow him and we'd find him. But God still didn't want us to meet. His friend went abroad. I was still waiting and waiting. Dad gave me the company long ago."I didn't know what to do. We found his friend and thought we could follow him to find him, but it seemed like fate didn't want us to meet. His friend went abroad, and I kept waiting and waiting. Eventually, my dad gave me the company, and one day I got here this company and all of my company to invite all the employees to a party I was throwing to get to know them better. That's when I met him again, with his son. Can you believe I waited so long, only to find out he was already married?"
