Nanon and Tay went to Tay's cabin. Everyone saw Tay bringing New's son into his cabin, prompting one woman to ask, "Why is Sir bringing New's son into his cabin?"
Another employee commented, "Our boss is so caring. New must be working, so Sir brought the boy with him."
She replied, "Doesn't Sir have work to do?"
At that moment, Jack came out of his cabin and saw them chatting instead of working. "Don't you all have work to do? Stop gossiping and get back to your jobs, or I'll fire you all," he warned. They quickly resumed their tasks.
In Tay's cabin, Tay asked Nanon, "What do you want to play, Nanon?"
Nanon replied, "Car game."
Tay said, "Come here, we'll play on my computer."
Nanon agreed, and they started playing the game on the computer. While playing, Tay asked, "Nanon, how many people live in your house?"
Nanon replied, "Papa, Nanon, and Grandma."
Tay thought this meant Nanon's mom might be dead. "Does anyone visit your home to see your papa?" he asked.
Nanon nodded, "Yes, sometimes Uncle, but he went to London."
Tay continued, "Does your papa always get strict with you?"
Nanon shook his head, "No, my papa is the best."
Then Nanon asked, "Uncle, why are you asking so many questions about papa?"
Tay thought to himself, "Oh, you cute boy," then said, "I'm just curious. That day, your papa scolded you at the party like that."
Nanon replied, "It's nothing. He scolds me if I don't listen to what he says and get myself hurt. It's natural for parents to scold their children if they don't listen and get hurt. My papa worries a lot about me if I get hurt." Tay asked, "How old are you, Nanon?"
Nanon replied happily, "Only four months left, and I will be four years old!"
Tay said, "You're just a little kid, but you know things that even older people don't know."
Nanon boasted, "Because I am stronger than my papa. He always loses when we fight."
Tay smiled, "Do you both fight?"
Nanon nodded, "Yes, we love to play fight games."
Tay smiled, "How cute. I wonder if I could see it someday."
Nanon didn't understand and said, "Hmm?"
Tay quickly corrected, "Oh no, I mean something else, Nanon. I didn't mean to tell you that."
Nanon said, "You like to talk to yourself."
Tay chuckled, "Yes, sometimes." Nanon exclaimed, "Uncle, I won!" Tay looked at his computer and realized they were still playing the game.
Tay said, "Oh yes, you won! Do you want to eat something for your winning prize?"
Nanon shook his head, "No, or my papa will scold me, and he will scold you too for giving me food from outside."
Tay reassured, "It's not bad food. Here, it's healthy food."
Nanon insisted, "No, first go and take my papa's permission. I don't want to get scolded, and I don't want you to get scolded either."
Tay asked, "Why would he scold me? I am his boss."
Nanon explained, "One day, Grandma bought me ice cream without telling Papa. I also didn't tell him, but that night I got a stomachache. So Papa knew something was wrong, and I told him the truth. After that, Papa scolded Grandma so badly that she even said sorry to Papa. If you do that, he might leave this office, I think." Tay say, "Oh my goodness, your papa is really something. I have to be careful."
