"Martha... Martha had a heart attack and is now in surgery... They don't know if she's going to make it.... I need to go be with her... I have to..." Maya said now crying more.

"Ok... Maya you need to breathe bambina please bella breath." Carina said holding Maya's face so she could look at her.

"Mamma I'm scared." Gio Said looking at her with teary eyes while Maya was trying to steady her breathing.

"It's ok bella it's ok..." Carina said looking at Gio who nodded.

"It's ok Gio. Your Mommy is ok she's just scared too. Let's go look for auntie Gabi..." Andrew said picking up Gio.

"No! I want mommy and mamma!" Gio said now crying and trying to get out of Andrews arms.

"Bambina please listen to what zio is telling you. I have to make sure mommy is ok so please bella go and look for auntie Gabi." Carina said as she looked at Gio.

Gio eventually agreed and headed upstairs with Andrew. Carina once again turned her attention over to Maya who was pacing around in the living room talking to herself. She wrapped her arms around Maya tightly so she could relax.

"I need to go with her... She has no one." Maya said moving away from Carina and turning to leave the house but Carina stopped her and pulled her into another hug.

"Yes we are but you need to relax bambina please." Carina said in a whisper.

Maya instantly hugged her back before falling to her knees in a sob. Carina sat with her on the floor as she was also fighting her own tears. She hated seeing Maya like this.

"If she dies.... I... She can't..." Maya choked out.

"No. You can't say that ok? You have to think positive. You have to think that she is going to make it. Martha is strong. You out of all people should know that." Carina said wiping Mayas tears as she nodded.

"She is. One thing I know for sure is she won't go without a fight..." Maya said with her voice cracking.

"See. All we need is faith bella. Now how about we get up and go be with her?" Carina said holding Maya's hand making her nod before taking a few more deep breaths.

"I know you have some important work meetings tomorrow... If you can't come I completely understand baby." Maya said after a few seconds making Carina look at her shocked.

"Are you joking? Bambina I don't care about work right now. Work can wait. I'll call Vic and have her reschedule everything until further notice but I'm going with you. I'm not letting you go through this alone." Carina said shaking her head.

"Ok... If you are sure..." Maya said nodding and taking Carina's hand.

"I'm more then sure bella." Carina said before heading up stairs.

After Carina agreed they went ahead and let Andrew and Gabriella know what was happening. They agreed that they would stay with Gio so Maya and Carina could go with Martha. Of course Gio wasn't happy. She wanted to be with Maya and Carina. Carina told Gio if she stayed she would bring her back a surprise so Gio agreed to stay and wait for her mom's.

"Tesoro... Me and Andrea were talking and we decided that he will go with you two to go see Martha. He doesn't want you two to go through this alone. I'll stay with Gio." Gabriella said going up to Carina who was packing a bag.

"Are you sure you'll be ok with her here?" Carina said zipping up her bag.

"We'll be fine bella don't worry. I'll call you if I need anything." Gabriella said before hugging Carina.
