Annoying beeping brings me to my senses. I feel something on top of me and my eyes flutter open to see what it is. Of course it's Caitlin and I run my fingers through her hair.

I don't know how long I lay there like that but I wait until she wakes up on her own. In a few hours we have a game and she needs energy.

I'm sure her answer to us gaining that energy will be something like getting a coffee. Even though coach told us not to get anything with caffeine before the game. Oh well. Honestly Caitlin's words are above coaches with things like that.

Taylor is finally back from the family emergency. She's been having quite a few over the past year and I know she just needs an escape from it.

Which is why I got her a ticket so she could stop thinking of it for at least a couple hours.

Plus she gets to see me so that will be great. Who doesn't want to see me anyways? I'm quite literally the most amazing person she's ever met. And I'm not even being dramatic.

Cait stirs awake and she looks up at me with a smile.

"Morning baby."

"Good morning Caity."

Her arms are still around me and we stay like that for a little while longer. Today will be fun but I love all the time we get together.

During away games the coaches don't let us room together anymore. Want to know the reasoning?

They're afraid we'd have too much "fun". And not settle down before the games. Like excuse you. I'm pretty sure that we're good enough teammates and athletes to not be like that.

"So," She looks up at me again, "Do you know what you're going to say when they go around to all the seniors?"

"Not really. Honestly I don't even know what I want to do."

"What do you mean?"

"Like, entering the draft this year would be fun too. But Paige and I have this plan and I can't see myself entering without her."

"Well I think that you should go with your gut. You'll get to play basketball no matter what."

"Yeah if I go this year I'd take your #1 draft spot."

"Shut up. I'd gladly take second or even tenth so that you got first."

"Now you need to shut up."

I roll my eyes at her and get out of bed.

"Where are you going?"

"Shower."

"Can I join?"

I pretend to think on it for a moment before shrugging my shoulders.

"I guess."

She gets up quickly and I laugh at her. Suddenly she's so awake. It's actually kind of funny.
