"What is June to you exactly? Do you remember how you started racing?" Maddy's words revolved around April's head as her wheels raced over the treacherous turns of the winding track. April wanted to clear her head but it only made her more frustrated.

Suddenly April realised a group of black cars are closing in weirdly. The drivers are exchanging glances and sinister smiles. April glanced in her rearview mirror, her heart sinking as she realized the danger. They were not just competitors they were out for blood. Who are they? Why are they after me?

The black cars started to spread out, forming a tight circle around her. April's pulse quickened. She swerved left, then right, trying to break free, but they matched her every move, boxing her in.

The leader of the group, a burly man with a scar running down his cheek, pulled up beside her and pointed a gun in her direction.

April's breath caught in her throat. She needed to think fast. As she swerved again, the gunshot rang out, narrowly missing her and shattering her side mirror. Panic threatened to overwhelm her, but she forced it down, focusing on survival. She tried to reach for her phone but it fell down during the chaos.

Suddenly, a thunderous roar came from behind. April glanced in her mirror again and saw a red motorcycle weaving through the chaos with breathtaking speed and agility. The rider, clad in a leather jacket and helmet, leaned forward, urging the bike to go faster.

"Wait that can't be!" April recognised the motorcycle. It is Roy's!

Her heart leapt with a mixture of relief and hope.

Roy sped up, maneuvering his bike with precision. He drew alongside the car with the gunman and, with a swift kick, knocked the weapon out of his hand. The gun clattered to the ground, and Roy didn't stop there. He spun his bike around, forcing another car off the road and creating an opening for April.

April didn't hesitate. She floored the accelerator, shooting through the gap Roy had created. The black cars scrambled to follow, but Roy was relentless. He darted in and out, his bike a blur as he disrupted their formation, giving April the precious seconds she needed to gain distance.

But before April could completely avoid the danger, two more black cars appeared on the horizon in front. She pressed on the brakes at once halting her car.

A man aimed his gun right at Aprils front window. April closed her eyes tight involuntarily as she felt it's almost over.

Right then a big white car bulldozed its way in between April's car and the attackers infront. A number of shots were fired and the white car took all the effect as the tires deflated and side frame shattered.

April saw two familiar faces coming out of the car towards. It's none other than June and Roy.

Back at the track seats Maddy started to get nervous as all the other cars which left for racing came back. Only April didn't make it back. She called June and Dew right away. They started at the hotel together in search of April.

"Get in quickly" April cried as she noticed the cars from the back are closing in again.

June at once jumped in at the front seat. Before Dew could jump into the back seat the scar cheeked gunman fired another shot. Luckily Dew ducked at once.

Meanwhile Roy caught up with them and pulled Dew on to his bike quickly and yelled to April "Go go go!"

April floored the accelerator once more, the red sports car roaring to life as they sped off.

The black cars scrambled to follow, but Roy on the motorcycle, combined with April in the car, made for a formidable team.

"They will catch up in no time, head for the forest," Roy suggested, pointing to a dense grove of trees ahead. "You will have better cover there, I will distract them"

"We will back with help" Dew cried.

"You two stay safe!!" April started steering the car toward the forest while the motor cycle took an opposite turn. The forest loomed ahead, its shadows offering an eerie feeling.

April and June plunged into the undergrowth, their vehicle kicking up dirt and leaves. Behind them, the sounds of the chase grew fainter.

April slowed down, her breathing ragged. She pulled over, taking a deep breath.

Suddenly she noticed the bright red color in the side seat. The chase was a chaos and April's entire concentration was on the road. Just now she shifted her attention to June. To her horrror she noticed June's white shirt is smeared in a pool of blood.

Earlier when June ran the car in between April's and the gunman, though the car took most of the bullets but one landed on June.

"June!" April cried at once.
