Marinette's pov

We were in the changing room I kept walking back and forth " This is bad this is really really bad.",
" Can you stop you're making me more anxious." Tim said and blocked my path.
"Why why couldn't you just keep your mouth shut?"," I was trying to calm you down." he defended himself.
"Yeah well now your brothers know that there is something between us not just something that we were intimate." Tim's mouth showed an almost proud smile I punched him in the chest."Outch!"
"Aren't you embarrassed at all?", "Why? Why should I be embarrassed?"," Because I am your assistant."
" Yeah but that's now you used to be my girlfriend."," That's even weirder.", "Why?"
"They don't know that we used to date. All they heard is that we did...it. Oh no what if they think I slept with you to get this job!"
"Marinette they know you by now." He was right. Totally right. "I can see your eye twitch." I glared at him.
"It's starting to get late. You want to go grab a bite some where?", "Oh crap! How late is it?"
"Five past seven. Why?" , "I have to get home. I promised Nick to help him study again." I said grabbing my stuff.
"Wait. Again? How often...." I didn't listen and ran out.
On my way out I saw Jason leaning against the door frame of exit. He shook his car keys and looked at me with questioning eyes. I nodded and followed him.

Jasons pov :

When we were in the car there was an awkward silence. I asked "Sooo do you want to turn on the radio or..."
"Just ask already! The silence is suffocating.",
I cleared my throat. " I ehm... ok...Ehh. Sooo you and Tim you're like.. a thing?", "We used to be."
"Used to be? Marinette you've been here for what? Four weeks.".
"I... Tim and I met almost five years ago. We dated for three years and five months before we broke up."
"And that was when you two...ya know...","Yes." She said blushing.
"So you picked this job cause you knew he'd be your boss?", "No! Heck no. I got recommended by my uncle and
mr. Wayne excepted."," But didn't your job application say that you'd work for Timothy Drake?"
"It did but your brother introduced himself as Tim Travers and I didn't Google my boss so I had no clue."
"And he never told you about... anything?",
"Nope, he said he's an only child and that his parents don't particularly care about him.",
"If you take it really technical he didn't lie." I said.  She glared at me. "I mean technically." I defented myself.
"You never saw where he lived?", " He'd often visit during vacation saying his parents made business trips to France frequently. I never had the money to travel. The one time I did have the money we planned a vacation together.
We broke up afterwards. "
Marinette said in a sad voice.
"What happened?" I asked. "He never showed up." She whispered in a strained voice. I took a deep breath and tightened my grip on the steering wheel. It got quiet again for a while. "What are you thinking?" She asked in a small voice.
"That I have to calm down and talk to replacement about how to treat a woman decently." I said as I drove into the garage. "What do you know about treating a woman?", "I can be a gentleman.",
"You're brother can be as well if he wants to. Especially if he wants something.",I parked the car.
"Was he good?", "Oh my Gosh your so embarrassing!"She screamed getting out of the car blushing.

Nicks pov:

I was about to call Marinette on the phone because she wasn't answering when I knocked on the door. Then heard someone running up the stairs. "Hey I was about to call you.",
"I.... am so sorry.... .I got..... held up... at work. I... swear I d....didn't mean to make yo...", "Wait. Just breath."
I said putting my hand on her shoulder. She took a deep breath then opened the door and we went in.
"I didn't take a shower or eat. Have you eaten yet? Ow I'm all over the place I didn't even say Hi properly." She said and hugged me. "Hi.",
"Hello. ....Tell you what. I'll make the food and you go and take a shower. I haven't eaten anything either. " I said. "Really?", "Totally." She hugged me tighter. "Are you sure you can do this?" She asked letting go.
"Don't you worry. Just give me the ingredients and let me cook." ,"Fine." She laughed.
....
"If you need a spoon it's in this drawer.", "Alright.",
"Oh and give the spaghetti two minutes extra time than written here.","Got it."
"I can show you how the stove works.", "Marinette get in the shower!", "Okay okay." She said and left.
I shook my head and got to work.
....
"Mmm it smells amazing." Marinette said walking up behind me. She was only wearing an oversized hoodie that ended slightly over her knees. Her hair was still wet and wavy.
Blushing I turned around and took a fork twisting the carbonara onto it.
I held a hand under it and brought it to her mouth. "Careful it's hot." She blew on it before eating it.
"How'd I do? ", "Excellent." She smiled. I gave her a fist bump. We set the table and started to eat.
"Mhm hold on I've got something for you." I said after finishing my plate.

Marinettes pov :

He went to grab his backpack and we sat down on the sofa.
"There you go." He said proudly as he handed me a paper. It took me a second to realise what I was looking at.
"No way! B+!", " Yes ma'am!" He smiled. I jumped him and he hugged me. "I'm proud of you.", "That's all thanks to you." He said as I pulled back. We looked at each other then his eyes moved down to my lips and back up to my eyes.
He started to lean in. It felt super weird that I was about to kiss him eventhough an hour ago I had that photoshoot. I was hesitant and moved very slow. Before our lips touched there was a loud 'BONG!' on the window and we jumped apart. "What was that? "I asked getting up running to the window where I saw something . 
"No clue probably a bird. ",  "Yeah a Robin if I'm not mistaken." I said a bit confused.
"Come on let's start learning maby you'll get an 'A' next time."
