It's dark here.

Even in the dark, I can make out Khalifa's face. He's at the end, not very far.

"Khalifa." I called out. He turned and looked at me. He had this bright smile on.
He motioned me to come over and meet him. The place wasn't dark anymore, and the light was partially dim. I was walking when I saw a lady passing by. Well, at least I'm not the only person in this weird place.

She mistakenly tripped, and the contents in her bag spilled. They were a lot of weird looking stuff. Khalifa kept looking at me impatiently, but I ignored him as I bent down to help the lady. Her stuff is quite much.

I touched the very first thing my hand could find in the midst of her stuffs, the lady grabbed my hand and darkly chuckled.

I struggled to escape her grip, but I couldn't, I tried to call Khalifa's name, but she placed her disgusting hand over my mouth. I saw a glimpse of her face, but she didn't have eye balls, and blood was running out from her eye socket, which scared me to death.

"I've finally got you." Her voice is having a disturbing echo effect.

"Jidda."
That voice sounds like Khalifa's, but I refuse to open my eyes. It might be that woman impersonating Khalifa. I shot my eyes tighter.

"Open your eyes, your body is shaking, what is scaring you please talk to me." And that's when I felt his hand running through my hair. I gradually opened my eyes and saw Khalifa. I didn't waste a single minute before I crashed on his body.

"Hey. Did you have a nightmare."
I nodded. He encouraged me to say my azkhars.

"Tell me, what happened."
"I can't." I whimpered.

"You should at least try and tell me what happened." I released a heavy breath.

I narrated everything I saw. Khalifa's reaction was not what I had in mind. He slammed his fist into the wall, releasing a pent-up anger. He kept mumbling. He was going to kill somebody. That he will torture them to death.

"Khalifa, you're scaring me."
"Sorry, Princess." His gaze softened.

"Khalifa, are you okay? You sounded off."
"I'm fine, I need to go somewhere."

"Are you seriously leaving me here, all alone? Please stay with me." I held his hands to my chest.

He rocked me back to sleep.

I woke, and I'm still in Khalifa arms. Well, he's lucky because I wouldn't imagine what I'll do to him if he's not around. I peeled his arms around me so that I could brush my teeth and wash my face. My head is pounding . I have a serious headache. I have to make tea and take some drugs.

I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. I really don't know what to cook, I could stare at the kitchen all day. There are many appliances from the coffee maker to the waffle maker, deep fryer, and so many more. I'm just so confused.

I later settled with waffles and tea. Because I don't think I can cook anything serious this morning.

I put some cinnamon sticks, cloves, grated ginger, black tea, and peppermint into the kettle. I covered my body to go out and cut some lemon grass. The workers all greeted me with a smile. Coming back, I added it to my tea.

While my tea is on heat, I mix my waffle batter and add some vanilla extract.

"Mmm... what are we having." Khalifa joined me in the kitchen.
"Waffles and tea, sorry I didn't cook anything good, I was just so confused."

"Princess, you better not think of forcing tuwo or any traditional food down my throat. Growing up, I had varieties of traditional food thanks to our cooks. Those people always cook the same thing over and over again in large quantities." He snickered.

"Oh, what is that smell." He dragged his leg to my kettle.

"I could meditate just standing and perceiving the smell."
"Or, you could drink it." I said with a weak smile.
He gleefully fetched a cup and dragged a stool.

"Khalifa relax it's almost ready. Here, have some waffles first."
"This takes good." He said brightly.

"Do you want syrup or honey."
"Honey."
I passed him the honey.

I dizzled some chocolate syrup over mine and served it with chopped strawberries. I put our food side by side and took a picture. I posted it with the caption. (Good morning with a white heart). I served us the tea afterward.

"The aroma and flavor of this tea is wonderful."
"Perfectly balanced." He added.

"Thank you."

I was about to clear the kitchen island when I felt a sharp pain in my head.
"Oh my God, what's wrong." Khalifa's voice was all over me, but I couldn't do anything but hold my head tight and shout.

A calamity is imminent.
