I hear voices of different frequencies in my head. I couldn't make out what was wrong with me. It's like I'm losing my sanity.

I blacked out.

I woke up with a mild headache.
"Princess, you're up. How are you feeling." He carassed my face.

"Honestly, my head is still aching, but it's not as bad as before."

"Khalifa, I'm terrified. Earlier, I was hearing voices in my head. Do you think I'm becoming crazy."

He pinched me.

Ouch

"What's that for." I cast him a withering glance.

"Don't utter such rubbish again."
"You don't have to fight this battle, I'll fight it for you. I just want you to let me go somewhere, I'll set everything right." I stared at him like he's growing two heads. How can he leave me in this state. Anything he plans on doing should be done in this house.

Khalifa is spending a month with me before he starts rotating our nights with Aisha. That's because we are newly married.

"Khalifa, I'm freaking out."

"How about we go out for a date."
"Really." He nodded.

"But we will go after Isha. That's the perfect time for a date."

I took my bath.
What do married people wear for dates. Should I go with casuals or traditional. The tons of clothes in my closet are confusing me more. Feeling defeated, I chose an emerald green satin maxi gown.
I placed a nude jersey veil over my head.

I saw Khalifa peeping into my room just when I was about to come out. He took a few steps back.

"You're a stunning masterpiece. How can anyone be this flawless?" Khalifa said as he flashed me a bright grin.
I couldn't help but blush like a school girl. Before this handsome man changes his mind, I push past him and head out.

I stood at the garage waiting for Khalifa.
There's something about khalifa's hand when he is driving, I can't point it out, but I always drool at how he handles the wheels.

"And she's thinking of how to draw out my blood, I'm I right." Khalifa said, which made me glare at him.

"The world doesn't revolve around your hand." I said.
"Oh please, I notice how you always stare at it." Khalifa said with a smile.

"Khalifa, I heard a myth that says left-handed people are prone to mental illness, don't say things that will make me think it's true."

"Well, princess, I'm sure mental health is not linked to handedness." He smirked.

He held my hand and kissed it.
"I'll gladly get sick if it means I get to drool over my beautiful wife in scrub with her million dollar smile."

"Khalifa, you're such a charming smooth talker, but this beautiful nurse here would feel sad if you fall sick."

"I'll keep that in mind." He uttered.

"And we are here." He announced with a smile.
"Zuma grill." I said under my breath.

"Come on, princess." We walked hand in hand.

Wow, this place looks beautiful.

I had an Asian dish called Kung pao chicken with chill sauce and mashed potatoes as a side order. That was honestly the first time I heard of that dish. Khalifa convinced me to have it since I told him I hate fish and any other sea food.

I later had chocolate fondant for dessert.
Me and Khalifa kept flirting with each other while eating.

I had a great time, and I took pictures of my food. I had, too. I mean, have you seen how costly their menu is, I've been to restaurants before, but this menu beats them.

"Khalifa, thank you." I held his hand and pressed it to my lips.
He kissed me on the forehead.

The moment my leg stepped into our house, my heart started beating fast.
I suddenly felt anxious.

"Are you okay?" Khalifa placed his hand on my shoulder, which startled me.

I hummed, after which I rushed to my room to wash my face. Why I'm I having all these strange devious feelings. I changed into a night wear and joined Khalifa on the bed. I placed my head on his chest and snuggled him.

"My arms were aching to be filled with your lovely presence."

"Khalifa, don't flatter me this night."

I closed my eyes with the hope that my nightmares are over, but are they?
