Keqing landed between Raiden and Kitayuu slightly in front of them. Raiden had just recovered from the previous attack and Kitayuu clutched his arm.
"You two really are idiots. I had to make a hard choice leaving everyone else behind to fight by themselves just so I could come save your asses."
Kitayuu smiled in relief, seeing Keqing was joining in to help them.
She let out a deep sigh, "Diluc is gonna kill me for this, so let's rather not let him find out, and make this quick!"
Raiden snickered, "You guys just keep on coming. I don't want your help."
Keqing turned her head slightly and looked at him with the side of her eye, "Yet you always need it."
Before Raiden could respond, they heard Metarika get back onto his feet, the armoured plates starting to mould on his body again.
Keying shot an electro stream immediately, shocking Metarika and causing him to go on one knee and disassemble the armour.
After panting for a few moments, he pointed directly at Keqing, "Wow, it looks like I've just hit the jackpot. Another one joins the party. Say Ke-"
"Not interested."
Keqing transferred to a pre placed flash orb behind him and struck his nape.
Kitayuu and Raiden ran in at the same time from the front but bumped into each other causing Kitayuu to miss a shot with his stun gun.
Metarika tried reaching Keqing from behind, but she was too fast for him to grab. Now appearing from the front. She drove her fist that was infused with electro into him, but just like before, Metarika showed incredible physical resistance and landed a forward strike right on her face.
A few moments after Keqing left everyone else with the other enemies, an all out brawl started between two legion members who had revealed themselves by taking off their cloaks and an army of Hilichurls.
One member, Kali, distanced himself on high ground and continuously fired arrows infused with dendro energy at the ground. Small bush-like plants sprouted every time they hit the ground which acted as mini turrets that fired poisonous thorns at the students.
Leiru, a close ranged fighter who was exceptional at hand to hand combat, pressured many students back with fast and relentless attacks.
Bennet was currently in combat with him having help from Xingqui who was firing his rain swords from range and Gepard taking him on up front as well.
After landing a coordinated strike that pushed Leiru back, Bennet and Gepard finally had a moment to breathe.
"Who knew we would be fighting side by side so soon after our battle," Gepard said with a chuckle.
Bennet got his fists ready and ignited them even brighter than before, "Heh, fate does like playing funny little games. Just make sure you can keep up."
Gepard; "Right, I should be the one saying that to you."
Unexpectedly, Leiru slipped right between the two boys and was now heading towards Xingqui in the back, "Shit he's fast!"
Xingqui quickly activated a rain sword barrier that sliced at Leiru as he went in for a punch. Leiru quickly backed off and found himself having to face Gepard and Bennet.
He quickly did a spin to face the right direction and thrusted his fist into the air launching a massive projectile, the same one that previously struck Sparkle earlier, freezing her and sending cold shockwaves around.
Gepard halted in panic, "I don't know how to deal with that!"
Bennet slid one foot back and charged one of his fists up, "Don't worry I can handle it!"
