"I-I'm sorry," Li Chyou immediately said to Feng Yichen.

"Look at what you did to Feng Yichen's bag," the girl, who crashed into Li Chyou, quickly directed the blame to Li Chyou.

"C-Chan Juan...," Han Xin Yan softly said to her friend but went quiet to see Feng Yichen's reaction.

Before anyone could utter another word, a short scoff rang out as everyone directed their attention to Xiaodan.

"Ha, aren't you the one who bumped into Chyou? So why are you putting all the blame onto her?" Xiaodan said.

"I-I...," Zhang Chan Juan couldn't think of an excuse as her face turned red.
"But she's the one who spilled her soup onto Feng Yichen's bag!" she blurted out.

Everyone stared at her, baffled.

"Feng Yichen, on behalf of my friend, I apologize," Han Xin Yan said.

Feng Yichen stood up and only spoke to his two friends, "I'm done eating."

He took one glance at Li Chyou and then at Xiaodan before walking away.

Li Chyou wanted to say something again, but he already left.

____

Looking at Li Chyou's gloomy expression, Xiaodan couldn't help but say, "Chyou, don't feel too bad. It wasn't your fault."

"B-but I was the one who spilled the soup on his bag. Looking at his bag, it was branded-name. It was probably expensive...," Li Chyou said softly. "I'll probably ask Haoran how expensive his bag was so I can at least try to repay him," she added, fidgeting with her fingers.

Xiaodan couldn't think what to say to make her feel better as the only thing she could say was, "Chyou, should we go to the convenience store before going to the library?"

She hoped she could buy something to help make Li Chyou feel better, and hopefully, by that time she could figure out how to help these two out.

Li Chyou was reluctant but went along with it.

Xiaodan slightly sighed in her heart and thought, "If only I knew that was going to happen, I would have let that girl bump into me."
Xiaodan then looked at her bracelet and ranted in her head.

_____

Once Li Chyou and Xiaodan entered the convenience store, Xiaodan went to get them some drinks while Li Chyou scanned around. Xiaodan grabbed two drinks before finding Li Chyou, staring at something intensely.

"Chyou, I got some drinks for us...," Xiaodan said before quietly staring at what Li Chyou was staring at.

Xiaodan's eyes sparkled before smiling, "You should get it."

Li Chyou finally noticed her and tried to say, "I-I...."

"Get it," Xiaodan assured her.

"Do you think he would accept it?" Li Chyou said cautiously.

"Try it. If he doesn't like it, you can give it to me," Xiaodan said.

____

After Li Chyou and Xiaodan finished their evening class, Li Chyou was about to head to her dorm.

"Which dorm are you staying at?" Li Chyou asked as she felt comfortable with Xiaodan.

"Dorm B24," Xiaodan answered. "I was so busy that I haven't checked it out yet. My stuff should have been sent over there this morning," Xiaodan added.

Li Chyou's eyes widened, "You're in the same dorm room as me!"

"Really!" Xiaodan said with a smile, even though she already knew that.

Once they both entered the dorm room, a petite female with a messy high bun was doing her homework on her desk under her bed. There were a total of four loft beds, all pushed up against the walls on either side, and under them were four desks. Xiaodan noticed one of the desks had many boxes on it as those were her stuff.

The female with a messy high bun looked towards them once she heard the door open.

"Oh, Li Chyou. You're back. Who is that with you?" She said, setting her pencil down.

"This is our other roommate," Li Chyou answered.

"Ah, hello! It's nice to meet you. My name is Fu Xiang. We didn't know which spot you wanted, so we placed your stuff on that desk. You can choose between those two beds since we are the only three people living here. If I remember correctly, we don't have a fourth roommate, right Li Chyou?" Fu Xiang said, looking at Li Chyou to make sure.

Li Chyou nodded as she agreed.

"That place is fine. Thank you," Xiaodan said with a genuine smile. Fu Xiang was very slightly surprised by her smile.

Fu Xiang couldn't help but smile as well and said, "You have a nice smile."

"Oh!" Xiaodan said with her eyebrows slightly raised. "Thank you.., but you have a nice smile as well," she added.

Fu Xiang smiled bashfully and continued, "What a sweet talker you are."

"Ah, sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Zhao Xiaodan, but you can be informal with me. I don't have a problem with that," Xiaodan said.

"Oh! You can be informal to me too," Fu Xiang said.
"Also, I'm an art major. I know I should be bunking with the other art majors, but since there are so many business students and not enough room for me in the art majors' dorms, I was placed here. So take care of me," Fu Xiang added.

Xiaodan already knew that since she did a small background check on Li Chyou's roommate. Since she would be living with them for some time, she wanted to know some details about Fu Xiang.

While Fu Xiang and Xiaodan were talking, Li Chyou set her stuff down. She took her assignments out of her bag and placed them on her desk. She was planning to work on them once she finished showering. She didn't realize she had also pulled out the items she bought at the convenience store. She stared at it and wondered if he would accept it.
