Once Xiaodan and Wu Mingze arrived back, they both saw Li Chyou trying to chase after Feng Yichen, who was leaving the library.
"F-Feng Yichen wait," Li Chyou said, trying to keep up with him, while he ignored her and left without looking back.
Both Wu Mingze and Xiaodan looked at each other, wondering what happened.
"Chyou, let him be. Don't stress about him. He is always like that," Zhu Haoran hollered, trying to make Li Chyou feel better.
Xiaodan noticed the stress in Li Chyou's eyes. "Let me go after him," Xiaodan said, handing the bag of snacks to Wu Mingze.
While Xiaodan went after Feng Yichen, Wu Mingze softly comforted Li Chyou before both of them looked at the direction Xiaodan and Feng Yichen went.

"Feng Yichen, wait a moment," Xiaodan said, catching up to him and grabbing his shoulder to stop.
He turned back and said, "What do you want?" His voice iced cold.
Xiaodan stared at him, not minding his cold attitude.
"If you dislike Li Chyou tutoring you, then why don't you say something? She'll probably let it go and stop bothering you," Xiaodan bluntly said.
He didn't expect how straightforward she was, as it took him a second to respond.
"What does it have anything to do with me if she wants to waste her time trying to tutor me? If she doesn't realize it herself, that's her problem, not mine," he said, not caring.
"It may not concern you, but she is my friend, and I don't want her to stress or waste her time if you're not going to care. Do you know every night she stays up making notes for you while doing her assignments as well? Do you not notice the dark circles under her eyes?" Xiaodan said.
Lately, Xiaodan has noticed that Li Choyu has been staying up at night with her flashlight on, doing her assignments, and making notes. She knew Li Chyou usually doesn't stay up late so she immediately knew it had something to do with Feng Yichen. Even though Xiaodan was happy that Li Chyou was trying to get close to Feng Yichen, she didn't want Li Chyou to be overworked or be used.
Feng Yichen was quiet for a moment before recomposing himself and said, "So," before
walking away.
