On their way, Xiaodan and Zhu Haoran chatted while Wu Mingze quietly trailed behind them. Once they finished getting snacks and drinks, Zhu Haoran started snacking and smiled the whole way back. Both Xiaodan and Wu Mingze carried the rest. Xiaodan watched Zhu Haoran happily eat before she cautiously looked at Wu Mingze.
She still couldn't get a read off of him. Whether he had feelings for Li Chyou or not. She hoped she could find out more since they would be hanging out with each other due to the group project.
She drew her attention back to Zhu Haoran, and a small smile appeared as she saw Zhu Haoran stuffed his mouth like a chipmunk. Little did she know, Wu Mingze's eyes were on her. He quietly watched her as he observed.
By the time they arrived back at the library, Xiaodan was surprised to see Li Chyou and Feng Yichen sitting by each other as Li Chyou was trying to help Feng Yichen. However, Feng Yichen wasn't paying attention while Li Chyou continued to talk and show how to do the assignment.
She thought to herself, "What just happened," as she was surprised to see they made up.

"Chyou, did something happen? It seems like you and Feng Yichen are close now," Xiaodan said as Li Chyou and Xiaodan were walking back to their dorm after they finished working on the group project for the day and will continue tomorrow.
Li Chyou was silent for a minute as it seemed like she couldn't find any excuses.
"I-I'm...helping Feng Yichen with his studies ...," she finally answered. Xiaodan slightly raised her eyebrows.
She knew that Feng Yichen had a high IQ but kept it to herself and said, "Oh, how nice of you."
Li Chyou nodded her head with her cheeks red, not knowing what else to say.
Xiaodan thought, "Perfect! Good thing I gave them some time to talk."
She then glanced at her golden bracelet and thought to herself, "Hmm...I haven't heard the bracelet ring yet. I guess my assignment is not complete until they officially start dating and have feelings for each other."
Xiaodan silently sighed to herself, "Well, at least they are going somewhere. Hopefully, I can draw out what happened between them and see how this has become."
