Around 9:45 am, Xiaodan entered the classroom. She quickly spotted her target as she walked up to her.
"Hi, my name is Zhao Xiaodan, but you can call me Xiaodan. I just transferred here today," Xiaodan said with a bright smile as she created a fake surname.
"Is there anyone sitting here?" she added.
The quiet, pure-looking female with long, wavy hair looked up at her and quickly shook her head. Xiaodan set her stuff down and sat right beside her.
"Sorry for the sudden introduction, but I just transferred here, and it's my third year, so I'm trying to get familiar with the surroundings," Xiaodan said, trying to create a conversation.
Xiaodan knew Li Chyou had also transferred here. Based on her file, Li Chyou was living with her aunt. Her aunt thought it was best for her to attend University A with Zhu Haoran, as it was the top university. Also, Li Chyou wouldn't be alone, as Zhu Haoran was also majoring in business and was in the same year.
"I also...just recently transferred today, and it's...also my third year," the quiet female said.
"Really! Great, then we can stick together and figure things out together," Xiaodan said with another big smile.
Li Chyou couldn't help but like Xiaodan's genuine smile before nodding her head.
"M-my name is Li Chyou," Li Chyou introduced herself.
"It's nice to meet you, Li Chyou," Xiaodan cheerfully said.
Li Chyou quietly looked at the vibrant female as she had never met someone so nice to her. She couldn't see any fakeness or hidden intention from Xiaodan.
Xiaodan noticed her gaze and smiled even brighter.
"Perfect! On the right start," Xiaodan thought. Her main object right now is to befriend Li Chyou before she can even think about getting them together. She knew she had a long way to go before her assigned people would fall in love with each other based on their attitudes. One has a heart of ice, and the other is shy as a mouse.
Xiaodan glanced at Li Chyou, who was reading her textbook even though the class had not started yet. Li Chyou felt Xiaodan's gaze and turned her head to sheepishly smile at Xiaodan. Xiaodan couldn't help but break into a smile as well. She felt that Li Chyou was super adorable, like a cute hamster.
"Is...there s-something on my face?" Li Chyou asked politely.
"No, there's nothing," Xiaodan said with a smile.
Xiaodan quickly picked up a topic to talk about.
"What's your schedule?" she asked, fully aware of Li Chyou's schedule since she had synchronized her schedule with Li Chyou's.
"I have writing class later today as some of my credits didn't transfer nicely, so I have to do some of my general classes again," Li Chyou answered.
"Me too! Do our schedules match up?" Xiaodan said, showing her schedule. Once they compared each other's schedules, Xiaodan added, "Hey, we do have the same schedule, so let's help each other out."
Li Chyou was slightly happy with Xiaodan's remark and thought she may have found a decent person, and this could be the start of a beautiful friendship.

Once the class was about to start, three handsome men entered the room. All eyes were on them, including Xiaodan, while Li Chyou only secretly glanced at them.
"Look at them go. I can agree that they are really handsome," Xiaodan thought to herself as she continued to watch them enter the room.
Zhu Haoran immediately noticed his cousin as he smiled brightly and headed towards her.
"Chyou, how are you settling on your first day? Do you have other classes today?" Zhu Haoran spoke softly to her once he got close to her. Li Chyou felt the gaze of others and slightly lowered her head.
"It's going well, and I...have another class later today," Li Chyou gently said.
"Haoran, didn't I tell you not to know me so it doesn't draw any attention to me," she mumbled.
She had heard numerous rumors about how popular her cousin and his friends were at the university, and she didn't want to be targeted by others. Since she recently started here and is somewhat close to them, she might get bullied by others, or they may try to use her to get close to them once they find out she is related to Zhu Haoran. She just wanted a quiet, peaceful college life.
"Sorry, I forgot. I'm just worried about you. Do you want to get lunch together at the cafeteria on the first floor after class? I don't want you to eat alone. Mom will get mad at me if I don't take care of you," Zhu Haoran cheerfully said as he sat in the empty seat next to her. He couldn't help but care for her. She was his adorable cousin.
"Hey guys, I'm sitting here today. The view and light is better here," Zhu Haoran said carefree, setting his stuff down and ignoring the gaze of others.
"Why all of a sudden," Feng Yichen said with a cold gaze, while on the other hand, Wu Mingze wasn't bothered and sat beside Zhu Haoran.
"I will let you guys know after class," Zhu Haoran said.
When Li Chyou felt Feng Yichen's cold gaze, she had chills down her spine and quickly rejected Zhu Haoran's offer, "I'm good. I will have lunch with my new friend, Zhao Xiaodan."
