The next day arrived, and they took their test. Soon, the following week came, and the test results were back.

"Let me see your results," Zhu Haoran grabbed Feng Yichen's paper without his permission.

"What! Wow. You did better than me!" Zhu Haoran said, gobsmacked.

"Give me that," Feng Yichen said coldly, snatching his test back.

"I guess my little cousin's effort paid off," Zhu Haoran said with a goofy smile.

Feng Yichen ignored Zhu Haoran and did not respond.

Immediately, Li Chyou said, "That's great! I'm so happy for you, Feng Yichen."

She couldn't help but feel happy for him and let out a genuine smile, but he only managed to say 'thanks'.

During this time, three pairs of envious eyes glared in their direction, especially towards Li Chyou.

"Look at her smile," Wang Chao Xing said enviously.

"Who does she think she is?" Zhang Chan Juan said resentfully, looking at Li Chyou and then at Han Xin Yan.

"Don't you think she's being stuck up, Han Xin Yan?" she added, seeing that Han Xin Yan wasn't saying anything.

Han Xin Yan was silent the whole time, but her hands were gripping tightly together. Her eyes filled with envy as she saw how close Li Chyou and Feng Yichen were getting. She narrowed her eyes as she watched Li Chyou sweetly talk to Feng Yichen.

"Leave it be," she said in a low tone.

After class, they decided not to do their group project and went to a restaurant instead. The whole way, Zhu Haoran was the only one who was happily talking as they listened to Zhu Haoran deciding which dish he wanted to eat. Everyone had a relaxed face or a smile as they watched Zhu Haoran talk on and on. It didn't seem to bother them. They felt it was more comfortable than having complete silence.

Xiaodan glanced at Li Chyou and Feng Yichen and noticed that they were comfortable around each other and could walk side by side without any tension.

She quietly thought to herself all she needed to do was push a little more. She didn't want to rush or force them into liking each other out of the blue. It wouldn't make sense or be genuine.

Despite thinking to herself, she didn't notice Wu Mingze coming from behind her and picked out a piece of lint from her clothes.

"Huh?" Xiaodan directed her attention to Wu Mingze.

"Sorry..., you had a piece of lint on your clothes," he said, showing the evidence.

"Oh, thank you," Xiaodan said, flashing a gentle smile.

"You must be happy that things are going well with them," Wu Mingze lightly said, walking beside her.

Xiaodan quickly flashed another happy smile and said, "Of course! The two people I want to be together are interacting with each other more."

"Aren't you getting a little too happy? They aren't together yet?" Wu Mingze said.

"At least it's a start," Xiaodan said in delight. Wu Mingze couldn't help but smile at Xiaodan's optimism.

"I got to say you are an odd person," he said.

"Odd? I would like to say that I am a unique person," Xiaodan justified herself but also chuckled at his remark. Wu Mingze just smiled in response. They continued talking and followed the rest of the gang to the restaurant as they walked side by side all the way.
