Unexpectedly, Li Chyou and Xiaodan happened to meet Feng Yichen and them as they were heading to their class. Hence, they all went to class together as a group.

"Chyou, how well did you sleep last night? Mom called me last night and kept nagging at me and wondering how you were doing. She worries that you still haven't adapted to your surroundings," Zhu Haoran blabbed.

Li Chyou shyly smiled, "Yes, Auntie called me last night as well. I told her I was doing well and that you were taking good care of me."

"Aww, my little meimei is so sweet," Zhu Haoran praised with puppy eyes, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. Zhu Haoran always wanted a little sister to spoil.

"Let Ran Ge know if anyone is bullying you, and I will take care of them," Zhu Haoran said proudly and took a glance at his friend, Feng Yichen, who just rolled his eyes.

Li Chyou noticed Zhu Haoran's gaze and quickly said, "N-no one is bugging me!"

"Chyou, you are too kind," Zhu Haoran said with a smile. "Heard that, Yichen. My cousin is kind. So, since you passed your test, my cousin no longer needs to tutor you," Zhu Haoran teased his friend.

"It's not like I forced her," Feng Yichen scoffed.

"I wanted to!" Li Chyou said abruptly to avoid any misunderstanding. Since she knew Feng Yichen's circumstances, she wanted to help him.

Everyone was slightly awakened by her cute little outburst. They looked at her quite stunned but felt how innocently kind she was. Li Chyou soon felt embarrassed and lowered her head. Zhu Haoran and Xiaodan immediately smiled at Li CHyou while Feng Yichen just stared at her and started to ponder.

"Chyou, you are so sweet," Xiaodan said.

Li Chyou felt her cheeks getting hot and quickly tried to change the subject, "W-we should head into class." She hurried to the classroom door.

Everyone was watching her scurry to the door. Xiaodan noticed something behind the open door. She spotted a shadow... no... a pink shirt was visible through the cracks. There was a person behind the open door as if they were waiting for Li Chyou to enter the room and slam the door right into her.

"Chyou, wait," Xiaodan said in a hurry. "Watch out," she shouted.

In an instant, the door flew towards Li Chyou once she was in the opening. Xiaodan immediately used her left arm to protect Li Chyou. The door slammed right into her entire arm to her shoulder with full force. The small heart-shaped bell on her bracelet was severely pushed into her skin, leaving a bright red mark on her wrist and creating a dent in the heart-shaped bell.

A small groan came out of Xiaodan's mouth.

Before anyone could ask if she was okay, Xiaodan immediately swung the door back with all her might, making it smack the person behind the door. Soon a loud cry echoed.

Everyone went quiet while Xiaodan went to look at who was behind the door.

"Do you think this is funny?" Xiaodan said with her voice cold.

"Did you not hear people coming in? Do you know someone could get severely injured?" Xiaodan continued, getting closer to the culprit, backing them against the wall.

"I-I didn't... see anyone coming," Zhang Chan Juan stuttered.

"So, you just happened to close the door right when we walked in? And what's your purpose in closing the door when you should know that people are still coming since class hasn't even started yet,"

"I-I," she was lost for words.

"I apologize on behalf of my friend." Han Xin Yan said, walking up to them.

"Chan Juan, apologize," she added, looking at her friend.

"B-but...," she tried to say as she was reluctant.

However, before she could apologize, Xiaodan turned her attention to Li Chyou.

"Are you alright? Did you get hurt?" Xiaodan said with her cold voice dispensing into thin air. Everyone directed their attention to Li Chyou to check if she was okay.

"I'm a-alright. I just bump my head a little. How about you? You're the one who blocked it," Li Chyou said, worried as everyone glanced at Xiaodan.

Once again, before anyone could check on her, Xiaodan added, "Your head is a little red. You should go to the nurse's office."

Causing everyone to direct their attention to Li Chyou again.

"Chyou, she's right. Your forehead is a little red. Let's take you to the nurse's office," Zhu Haoran said.

Li Chyou didn't know what to say but obligingly agreed. She didn't understand why they were making a fuss about her when she didn't feel any pain. She thought they should be more concerned about Xiaodan, who did get injured. She noticed the bright red bruise on Xiaodan's wrist.

"Wait," Xiaodan said, turning her attention to Zhang Chan Juan.

"Go ahead and apologize," Xiaodan said, making Zhang Chan Juan feel as if she wasn't anything important to simply ignore or acknowledge whenever needed.

Zhang Chan Juan's face turned red and gritted her teeth. Before she could utter a word, she was interrupted once again.

"Hey, what about you? Are you okay?" Wu Mingze said, directing his attention to her wrist.

"You need to apologize to her too," Wu Mingze said seriously and sharply looked at Zhang Chan Juan.

Xiaodan looked at her wrist before rubbing the pain away.

"I'm fine," Xiaodan said, carefree and brushing it off. "But I would love an apology," she'd added with a bright mocking smile and looked at Zhang Chan Juan.

A cold voice entered, "Why bother? It's not like she will mean it anyway. It was most likely her intention to harm Li Chyou."

Feng Yichen stepped forward and stood in front of Zhang Chan Juan with his eyes piercing her.

"If this happens one more time, beware of what will happen next," he said deadly. He glanced at Han Xin Yan. "Keep your friend in line."

Han Xin Yan opened her mouth to say, "Feng Yichen-,"

"Let's go," Feng Yichen said to Li Chyou, ignoring Han Xin Yan.

Li Chyou was quick on her feet. She hurriedly followed Feng Yichen. She was slightly startled by his threat but also relieved to have him step up for her.
