"Jack, take the car," Levi, Zayn's personal assistant, said to the driver, who then took the car. Zayn hopped into the backseat.
On the way to the office,
"Levi, explain my schedule for today," Zayn said. Levi immediately looked into his phone and replied,
"Sir, today you have a meeting with Mr. Fernandez..." He then continued explaining Zayn's schedule. "And sir, you have a family function today. It's your grandmother's birthday."
Zayn nodded and said, "Yeah, I know. I've already called her. And about that, Celine will come to our office. Don't stop her." Levi nodded.
At the office, Zayn walked straight to his cabin. On his way, his employees stood and greeted him. He smiled at them and went straight to his cabin.
"Hey, what happened to the boss? He smiled at us today," one of the employees said.
"It's his grandmother's birthday. I think that's the reason behind his smile," another employee replied.
"Levi, call me when Celine comes. Other than that, don't come in unless I call you," Zayn said in his cold voice while checking an important file. Levi nodded and went outside.
In Kendra's house,
"Mom, I'm leaving," Kendra said while walking down the stairs. Her mom came from the kitchen and asked, "Why so early?"
Kendra smiled and said, "I have a meeting, and Mr. Fernandez has asked me for an official meet-up." Her mom nodded.
"Mr. Fernandez?" her father asked while looking at the newspaper. Kendra looked at him and said,
"Yes, Dad. He suddenly asked me for a meeting."
"Is there any problem?" he asked her, looking at her with a questioning face.
"Don't know. Anyway, I'm leaving. Bye," she said, kissed her dad and mom, and then added, "Yara, take the car." Yara, who was standing nearby, nodded and went outside.
"What about breakfast?" her mother asked. She smiled and said, "I'll order something. Sorry." She pecked her mother's cheek and walked away without giving her mom a chance to react. Mrs. Walker sighed and looked at her husband, who was smiling at their daughter.
"Like father, like daughter!" Mrs. Walker said, glaring at him as she walked back to the kitchen. Mr. Walker looked at her in disbelief.
At Walker Ventures,
Kendra walked to her cabin. Seeing her, the employees stood up and wished her good morning. She smiled, wished them back, and walked inside her cabin.
"Set up the meeting room. I'm coming," Kendra said to Yara.
"Yes, ma'am," Yara replied and went to make the arrangements.
After the meeting,
"Ma'am, Mr. Fernandez is waiting for you in your cabin," Yara said, walking behind Kendra. Kendra nodded and said in her cold voice,
"Don't come in or call me until the meeting is over."
Yara nodded. Kendra walked into her cabin.
"Good morning, Mr. Fernandez." As soon as Fernandez saw her walking in, he stood up and greeted her. Kendra smiled, sat in her chair, and asked him,
"What makes you come here?"
"Actually, about our collaboration... I'm backing off from it due to some reasons." When Fernandez said this, Kendra's expression changed from a smile to a cold one.
