Olivia's POV

"Kendra, you're dead today... Just wait and see who I am! You're going to regret your actions..." I muttered to myself with a smirk. I looked at Mr. Zayn, who was staring at me with piercing eyes. I swallowed nervously when I saw him. "But why is he taking her side?"

While I was smirking at Kendra, lost in my thoughts, Mr. Collin suddenly spoke, making my jaw drop in surprise. "Slap her," he said to Kendra with a serious expression.

I looked at Mr. Collin in confusion and then at Kendra, who was squinting at him. When I glanced at Mr. Zayn, I noticed him smiling silently while looking at his father. I clenched my jaw in anger.

"But Mr. Collin...!" Kendra began, but Mr. Collin interrupted her and said, "Just do as I say," he commanded, still serious.

Kendra looked at me with cold eyes and smirked. "As you say, Mr. Collin..." she said to him, then turned to me with a smirk and walked towards me. I stepped back. She suddenly grabbed my hand and slapped me so hard that I stumbled from the force. I covered my face with one hand and glared at her with burning eyes. She smirked and leaned closer to my ear.

"I think you're realizing your place now, slut!"

I made a fist and was about to react, but before I could, Mr. Collin spoke, "Do you have any problem with that, Ms. Olivia? I think you've realized your mistake now."

I clenched my jaw in anger but stood in front of him with my head lowered and nodded slowly. He hummed in response and said, "You may leave now, Ms. Olivia."

I looked at him and then at Mr. Zayn, who was watching me with stern eyes. I lowered my head again and walked out.

End of Olivia's POV

Kendra watched Olivia's disappearing figure with a smirk. Zayn noticed and smiled internally.

"How are you, dear?" Mr. Collin asked Kendra with a sweet smile. Kendra looked at him, smiled softly, and replied, "I'm fine, Mr. Collin."

He nodded in response, stood up, and said, "Call me Uncle. And I'm sorry for what she did to you. It was a mistake on the company's part. I apologize on her behalf..." Zayn frowned and stood up to stop his father from apologizing to her, but before he could, Kendra said, "You don't have to apologize, Mr. Collin. After all, I'm also an employee here. Just take it as a colleague's fight. And besides, I can handle her myself. It's me who should be sorry here. I shouldn't have slapped her during office hours..."

Zayn looked at her with a smile but quickly replaced it with a cold expression. Mr. Collin smiled and said, "Okay, so how is my son treating you? Is he being rude?"

As soon as he asked, Zayn glanced at Kendra, who was side-eyeing him. Kendra smirked at him. Zayn frowned, wondering, "What is she up to?"

"He's been good so far, but I can handle him, Mr. Collin—sorry, Uncle—even if he's rude to me..." Before she could finish, Mr. Collin interrupted, "Just tell me." Kendra chuckled and said,

"Of course." Mr. Collin chuckled as well. Zayn looked at them, dumbfounded.

"So, you're coming to the party, right?" Mr. Collin asked Kendra with a smile, hoping she would agree, but Kendra declined and said, "I'm sorry, I won't be able to come." Mr. Collin frowned and asked,

"But why? Your father told me that you love parties, and he also mentioned that you're the one who entertains everyone at the parties hosted by your company."

Kendra nodded and said, "Yes, but..." Before she could finish, Mr. Collin said, "No buts. You're coming, hmm?" He said this and walked out, smiling at Kendra and Zayn.
