Dexter's POV
"Just don't play around... just kill her as soon as possible!" When my dad said this, I looked at him and replied with an evil smile.
"But before that, I want to play a game with her. A game that will piss Zayn off."
"What do you mean?" Dad asked, raising his eyebrows. I chuckled and said,
"Just for fun... and besides, I need to be sure about their relationship before doing anything."
After hearing me, Dad hummed in response.
"She doesn't know she's just stepped into hell," I said, laughing. Dad looked at me and laughed along with me.
Kendra's POV
"Why do I feel so uncomfortable around them in that house?" I asked myself while driving. I didn't know why...
"Maybe it's just my thoughts," I shrugged it off and went straight to my office.
Two days later, 8 PM
I was on my way to a club with my friends after work. As I was driving, Luna suddenly spoke,
"Guys, did you know what? I think someone is in love!"
I frowned and glanced at her. She was looking at me with a teasing smile.
"Who is it?" Ada asked while looking at her phone. Luna glanced at me and replied with a smile,
"The one who's driving right now!"
I raised my eyebrows and looked at her.
"WHAT?" Alona shouted. I closed my eyes at her sudden outburst and said,
"Can you please shut up? And Luna, what are you talking about? Who said I'm in love?"
She crossed her arms and asked,
"You don't know anything?"
I raised an eyebrow and said, "Can you please cut the crap and get to the point!"
She sighed and said, "You're in love with Zayn, right?"
As soon as she said that, I lost my focus and slammed on the brakes. We all jerked forward from the sudden stop.
"WHAT THE HECK, KEN?" Ada shouted in surprise. I was about to respond when cars behind us started honking. I quickly parked on the side of the road.
"What was that?" Luna asked teasingly. I looked at her in disbelief and stammered,
"Wha...what?"
She scoffed and glanced at the back seat, where Ada and Alona were sitting. I followed her gaze and saw them glaring at me. I gulped and asked,
"Why are you guys looking at me like that?"
"Tell us, is there something going on between you and Zayn?" Ada asked, her voice firm. I looked at her and asked,
"What made you think that?"
"Yesterday, when we were drinking at the restaurant, I saw you smiling when Zayn called. And now, when I asked if you're in love with him, you lost control of the car. Any ordinary person could figure this out, Ken!" I gulped when Luna said that.
"Tell us!" Alona demanded sternly. My mind went blank. I was so confused...
"I'm not in love with him, but why can't I just tell them that there's nothing between us?" I asked myself, confused.
"Ken?" Luna called out, shaking me slightly, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked at them, and they raised their eyebrows expectantly. I took a deep breath and said,
